Mature in faith but still capable of wide-eyed wonder,
the CHILDLIKE are often those identified
not by age but by experience of OPENNESS
to the great mystery of God’s unfolding LOVE and MERCY.

Life at Medaille House of Discernment is centered around prayer, reflection, community and ministry in the spirit of the CSJ charism. Connection and relationship is our focus. This happens in planned and spontaneous moments. Often residents like Julie Tapia and Sister Ines Telles, CSJ, have a nice conversation while sitting on the window seat in our community room. Julie is a student at Mount Saint Mary’s University and is living at Medaille House during the summer months. The great love of God lives in our lives, our community and in service to the dear neighbor. v ~ Submitted by Sister Darlene Kawulok, CSJ

Help us see the face of Jesus in every homeless person we meet today.
In preparation for the Assembly discussion on Homelessness and acknowledging your own energy and gifts, you might want to consider an appropriate commitment to the dear homeless neighbor. Please consider doing the following: Advocacy, researching resources available to assist the homeless, participating on a committee, praying for the homeless, volunteering at a homeless facility/food bank or.......? I want to thank all of you who entered into conversation during these past months regarding your experiences of and concern for the homeless. v ~ Submitted by Sister Diane Smith, Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation Coordinator
