Ladies Lunch Bunch WILL NOT MEET Jan. 1. -We usually meet the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of each month at Blue Baker on University Dr. at 11:30 or when-ever you can get there. So, in January we will meet on the 15th. We'll gather for our devotion and have great conversation and food. We hope you can join us for a spiritual respite from your hectic day. FIT FOR CHRIST WILL NOT MEET Dec. 24, 26, 31 nor Jan. 2 But after that We will still meet on Tues-day and Thursday mornings (8:15) upstairs in room 240. Our workout consists of a warm up routine of walk-ing, and then toning exercises which focus on upper or lower body or sometimes Pilates. We wrap up the time together with a devotion. Child Care available.
Join Bethel’s Ladies and Men in Bible Study and Fellowship
Men’s Monday Evening Bible Study & Fellowship Group meets at 7:00 PM in Room 232. They are doing a study on Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi. This study is part of the LifeLight Bible study series of in-depth studies of Bible books put out by Concordia Publishing House (cph.org). The goal of LifeLight is that through a regu-lar program of in-depth personal and group study of Scripture, more and more Christian adults may grow in their personal faith in Jesus Christ. Friday Morning Men's Bible Study/Breakfast Group each Friday morning at 6:30 AM in the Parish Hall. New Study starting Nov. 22: Luther - The Life and Legacy of the German Reformer Not meeting on December 27.

Sunday School Information December 22nd and December 29th we will have NO Sunday School. We will return to our regular schedule of Sunday School and Bible Classes on Jan. 5th.
Fun Family Wednesday will
start back up on January 15, 2020. We will see you then. Youth Night will start back up on Jan. 15 also.

Bethel Music Ministry
The Sanctuary Choir will start up again on January 15, 2020. Wednesday nights at 7:00—8:00 pm We sing SATB Choral music. All High school—adults are invited to join us. If you have any questions you may call Beverly Catalina, 979-694-5165.
The Hand-bell Choir is always looking for more ringers. We will start back to practicing on January 15, 2020 on Wednesdays at 6:00—7:00 pm in the balcony. Any Questions? Email Josh Ninke at [email protected].
Bethel OWLS (Older, Wiser, Lutheran Souls) We will start meeting again for our monthly Noon Pot-luck & Program on Thursday, January 16, 2020. Guest Speaker TBA.

Bethel’s Preschool News
Our thanks to our preschool children and families for their participation in the Preschool Children’s Christmas Program at the Live Nativity on Dec. 15. We had 390 in attendance (children, staff, parents, grandparents and friends) for the children’s program. The children did a great job of playing the bells and singing! It was a wonderful evening and our families
really enjoyed coming to the Live Nativity. Thank you to the Live Nativity Committee for all their hard work to make this such a special event. God truly blessed our program and the Live Nativity!
The preschool will be closed December 23 through January 7 for the Christmas holiday. Our first day back to school will be Wednesday, January 8. We pray God’s blessings on our families as they celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior!
The 2020 Flower Chart for Altar flowers is in the Information Center by the elevator. The cost is $30 per sponsorship and we will accept 3 sponsors each Sunday.
The Lutheran Hour For the Month of December is sponsored to the glory of God

THE LUTHERAN HOUR is on KAGC, 1510 AM on Sundays at 12:30 p.m. sponsored by Bethel. If you would like, you can sponsor a week's broadcast for $25 or a month for $100. Thank you to all who have given to this min-istry. The 2020 Sign Up Chart for The Lutheran Hour is in the Information Center by the elevator.
2020 Offering Envelopes are now available for
pick up in the Narthex area. Please take the offering enve-lopes which are assigned to you next time you’re at Beth-el. DO NOT begin using these envelopes until 2020. Please note that those who previously had offering envelope num-bers that were greater than 275 will be assigned new numbers in 2020.
2019 Contributions must be received in the church office by December 31st or postmarked by that date to be recognized as a 2019 donation.
Ladies Tuesday Morning Bible Study meets 10:00 -11:15AM in room 232, led by Pastor Bard. Child care is pro-vided. Please Note: We will take a break and NOT meet on Dec. 24 & 31. We will start back on Jan. 7th.
Lutheran Women in Mission Bible Study—January 6 at 7 pm in the Parish Hall. Bible Study Topic - Season of Light and our Service - Socks for Twin City Mission residents. All ladies of Bethel are welcome to attend.
Dear Bethel Family, Thank you for all your love and support these past 15 years while Mr. Byer’s health was going down. Buck & I loved all your visits, calls, prayers, cards, meals, flowers, caroling, valentines, and the Prayer quilt. I especially want to Thank Pastors Bockelmann, Stroud, Bard, Wiechman & Eden for bringing us The Lord’s Supper and His Word to uplift us and for comforting us in the hospital.
