GRANT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS (IPR) REIMBURSEMENT

To enhance the competitiveness of the MSMEs sector, a scheme “Building Awareness on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)” for the MSME is administrated with the objectives as under • To take measure for the protecting their ideas and business strategies. • Assists to SMEs in technology up-gradation and enhancing competitiveness and for effective Salient Features • Conducting Pilot Studies and Interactive Seminars / Workshops for selected Clusters and Groups of Industries. • Specialized Training programmes for Government officials and Industries. • Assistance is being provided to the Granted Patent & Geographical Indications. • Implementing agency has to contribute 10% of the GOI assistance for each activity prescribed in the scheme guideline.

• Interactive Seminars / Workshops IPR with financial assistance is upto Rs.2.00 Lakh per programme. This awareness programme may be organized by eligible implementing agencies like industries Association, Chambers etc • Specialized training for Government official and Entrepreures to trend them on IPR related issues. For short-term training programme financial assistance is upto Rs.6.00 Lakh per programme is being provided and for long-term training programme financial assistance is upto

Rs.45.00 Lakh per programme. • Setting up a Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre (IPFC) for MSMEs with financial assistance up to Rs.65.00 Lakh per centre. This awareness programme may be organized by eligible implementing agencies like expert agencies and prominent Industries Association etc

Unemployed Youth


Trichy District

An Industrial Motivation Campaign for Cluster (IMC-C) was organized by MSME-DI, Chennai at Trichy on 30-10-2019 for Gate & Grill manufacturers Association to sensitize them about various schemes of the Central and State Government along with Cluster Development Programme for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSE-CDP). There were 55 MSME units holders participated in the programme.

Thiruvarur District

In Tiruvarur District, the Industrial Motivation Campaign-(Youth) was organized by for

the benefit of educated youth on 11.12.2019 and 12.12.2019. The campaign was organized by Shri. N Sivalingam, Assistant Director. Around 65 candidates had

attended and benefited.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (ESDP)


Theni District

An Industrial motivational campaign for cluster was organized by MSME-DI,

Chennai on 05.12.2019. The campaign was coordinated by Shri. P. Jeyaselvam, Assistant Director, MSME-DI, Chennai. Totally 73 MSME units were participated.

Chennai District

ESDP on Food Processing

ESDP on Food Processing was organised at MSME DI, Chennai from 11.11.2019 to 20.12.2019. Total 28 participants were attended the program. Shri. Dharmaselvam,

Deputy Director, MSME DI was inaugurated the program and addressed the gathering

and delivered a lecture on Self Employment Opportunities in Food Industry. Dr. Daniel, Sr. Scientist and Dr. Saxena, Scientist from Baba Atomic Research Centre were also

present and informed about the new invention technologies in food product Sector.

Shri. Muthu Krishnan, Food Inspector, FSSAI, Saidapet area had explained about the

Mandatory regulation for exporting Food.

ESDP on Auto CAD and ANSYS

Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programme (ESDP) on Auto CAD and Ansys has been conducted from 13.11.2019 to 23.12.2019 in association with Central Institute of

tool Design (CITD), Extension Centre, Chennai. The Entrepreneurship topics on

Achievement Motivation, self employments opportunities and technical session on Auto CAD and Ansys, Software Design basic, 2D, 3D Drafting, Truss elements, Harmonic

Analysis, Explicit Dynamics, Drop Test, Thermal conductivity and also project report

preparation, Financial subsidy schemes are delivered in the programme . Shri. G Arun, Deputy Director, MSME-DI Chennai elaborated the importance of self employment and

motivated them to start self employment, and distributed the course completion

certificates to all the successful participants. The overall programmed was coordinated

by Shri. M V Leelakrishnan, Assistant Director, MSME-DI, Chennai.

ESDP on Auto CAD and ANSYS

ESDP on Auto CAD and Anyss was started at CITD Extn Centre, Chennai from 10.10.2019 to 21.11.2019. Shri. Bhaskar Reddy, Deputy Director, CITD was

inaugurated the program and addressed the gathering about self employment and

opportunities in Auto CADD. The topics like Achievement Motivation, self employments opportunities in Auto CADD and Ansys, Software Design basic, 2D, 3D Drafting, Truss

elements, Harmonic Analysis, Explicit Dynamics, Drop Test, Thermal conductivity,

project report preparation, Financial subsidy schemes are covered. Total 25 no’s of participants were attended the program. The overall programmed was coordinated by

ESDP on Food Processing was organized by Br. MSME-DI, Coimbatore from 6.11.19

to 17.12.19 and coordinated by Shri. V. Parameswaran, Asst. Director at Ramasamy Chinnammal trust, Coimbatore. Total 25 Participants were given hands on training

ESDP on Garments Manufacturing was organized Br. MSME-DI, Coimbatore at

Coimbatore from 6.11.19 to 17.12.19 and coordinated by Shri. R. Vijayakumar, Asst.
