Rae Photography primarily serves the Hampton Roads VA area and occasionally serves the Riley, Geary, and Dickinson Counties in Kansas, and specializes in Newborn, Maternity, Children, and Couples Portraiture! Each Session includes us discussing the outcome you expect from your session, planning, and advice on choosing a location for your session (location must be within a 30 mile radius of Norfolk, or an additional $0.50 per mile will be added to your session fee). 1 hour of shooting for Maternity, Children, & Couples Sessions. 2-4 hours of shooting for Newborn Sessions. 20 Digital Edited and Enhanced Images (40 for Belly to Baby Package) in an online Private Gallery for 60 days for Viewing your Images. Low Resolution CD with complete gallery of Watermarked Digital Images for Online Uploading & Sharing. *please note- the session fee does not include digital images with print rights or Prints. I love shooting in Natural Light (with the exception of newborn sessions which take place in the comfort of your home). I feel there is nothing more beautiful than the naturalness of our nature. The soft glow of the early morning and evening sun give us the best form of light for our session, which in the end makes your images truly beautiful. Let’s Get Started!

The Lady Behind The Lens Hi, I'm Erika! Ya know, It’s funny how life turns out, how things change, and how you end up where you thought you would never be. If you had asked me about 8-10 years ago what I wanted to be when I "grew" up, I would have answered with “A famous singer.” I know, DREAM BIG! RIGHT!? I would have a HUGE mansion in either New York or Los Angeles, have more money than I would know what to do with, be driving a Ferrari, have no kids, be walking down the red carpet every chance I was given, and have my name written on the Hollywood Star Walk. I also told myself I would NEVER marry anyone in the military, as much as I support those in uniform (my father is a Vietnam Vet), I never wanted to live alone and worry every day. Well, let’s fast forward to now. I am NOT a famous singer, well, obviously :). I am a Photographer. I don't have a huge mansion, more like a 1,400 sq. ft home. I definitely don’t reside in New York or L.A. I live in Norfolk, Virginia, after moving from my home state of KS, to Gulfport MS, to VA. I definitely don’t have more money than I know what to do with, I don’t drive a Ferrari because I can't afford one, and I have 2 kids in tow- Jaylea who is 5 + Jr who is 2. The only carpet I walk on is my beige living room, hallway, and bedroom carpet in hopes that I don’t step on a mega block or miniature princess and seriously injure my foot. The only place my name "Mommy" is written is on my walls with pen and crayon (my 5 year olds art of writing). I am also married to a man in the military (he's Navy) that has been my better half since 2005 before he even joined the service. And do you know what? I couldn’t imagine anything else. Life happens, plans change, people change, YOU change. I am definitely not where I thought I would be 8-10 years ago, this is not the life I thought I would have, but- it is everything I could dream of now. All prints are printed from a professional lab on professional photo paper. You are not REQUIRED to order prints from me, however I recommend that you place your print order with me to ensure

quality prints. I place your Print Order with Professional Labs ONLY.

How it All Works

Let me start by saying that I shoot no more than three sessions a week. I do this so that YOU get the best experience possible. I don’t want to be over booked and have to worry I will be too busy, so I limit myself to a certain number of sessions so that I can spend the most time making your images perfect in post processing.

When booking a session we will first collaborate on the best day, time, and location for your session to take place. The best times for Sessions are just after sunrise or right before sunset. It gives a glowing, soft, and hazy light that isn’t overpowering. If you wish to book on a weekday the session must take place in the evening right before sunset. If we are booking on a weekend either time is good for me. As for location- I have a list of locations if you are unsure where we should shoot. J ALL Newborn sessions are booked for the weekends and must start at 10am- that is the time for the best light to shine through your windows. All newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your own home.

After a date, time, and location is chosen I will then collect your full Session Fee (which is NON REFUNDABLE)- $150 for Maternity | Children’s | Couples- $200 for Newborns- and Half of the $300 Session Fee for the Belly to Baby Package ($150 to book and $150 due within 7 days before the Newborn session). The session fee payment SECURES your date and time. This MUST be paid in order to move forward with the session (no exceptions).

All collection of payments is done securely online. You will pay your session fee with a debit or credit card via a PayPal invoice that I will send to your email where you will then be directed to pay (you don’t HAVE to have a PayPal acct for this). A receipt of payment is sent immediately back to you, which ends up being the most convenient for the both of us.

After the session fee payment is received we will then brainstorm ideas so that you get the most customized experience with me. I will help you with what to wear if you are unsure. If we are doing a newborn session we will discuss the colors of blankets and different props I have in which you would like for me to bring to use in your session.

After brainstorming is complete we simply wait for our session date to roll around. 3 days before your session I will call or email to confirm our date and time (see policies below for cancellation or reschedule). Policies

The Session Fee is NON-REFUNDABLE (no exceptions) and due at the time of booking

One Reschedule is allowed for emergency and health reasons.

If the session is completely cancelled the session fee will not be applied toward a future session

Please contact me ASAP for any changes to your session

If you are more than 20+ minutes late to your session and I have not received a notification of some sort the session will be considered

cancelled.

You are not required to pay for digital images or prints until your complete gallery has been published and you have had the chance to

view your images. I want you to know what you are getting before buying. I guarantee Gallery Hosting for 60 days, however, after your

complete gallery has been published, you have 30 days to place orders for digital images or prints. After the 30 days your chances

for purchasing digital images or prints are exhausted.
