E sting review

I narrowed it down to two summer themed ideas it was a couple being sunburned or it was a turtle

hatching eggs and the E4 logo pops out and the turtle runs away scared

In the end I chose the turtle theme as I felt looking at my secondary research I felt there were no

other ideas out there like mine that had the summer theme I got through the storyboards relatively

easy it did take me some time to get all the timings correct though my ideas were flowing well and

got the storyboards in and checked quickly so I could start on the actual production

Production and artwork

I found I struggled with creating the artwork I wasn’t used to having artwork on a variety of layers so

the original start of the process was slow and it did take me a few weeks of wade through all of the

creating of the artwork

I felt the actual key frames and movements I had to use within my animation I found it difficult at

times as I have never used this

animation equipment at first but

once I had been show I felt I really

kicked on and made more and

more complex manoeuvres such as

flipping the artwork and making his

legs and mouth wok

Overall I feel my E sting was good

but if I had more knowledge of the

artwork and animation tools I

would have made my character’s

do more instead of just basic

movements.
