EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE RESOLUTION The undersigned members of the Executive Committee of the Philippine Judges Association (PJA), in a meeting held, and in the presence of quorum, hereby consent to and adopt in writing the following resolution: On September 24, 2015 the PJA Board of National Officers and Directors issued a resolution adopting automated elections and thus deferring the elections to December 3, 2015. WHEREAS, there is a need to prescribe rules for the conduct of the automated elections; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The following E-voting guidelines are here adopted and prescribed, as follows: PJA eVoting Guidelines The polling precinct shall be located in the Hall of Justice. If the Hall of Justice has no internet access, the polling precinct may be set up in any government office with internet connection, or at the nearest internet café, chargeable to the PJA. The RTC judges may vote in any of the polling precincts nationwide. The website address of the PJA eVoting System shall be sent by the Supreme Court Management Information Systems Office (SC-MISO) to the email address provided by the Election Officer (EO). The EO shall log in to the eVoting System using his/her pre-assigned username and password. The pre-assigned username and password shall be sent by the SC-MISO. The pre-assigned username and password shall be kept confidential by the EO at all times. All votes shall be recorded in the eVoting System with the accompanying pre-assigned username used by the EO to log in. The Voters’ List shall be sent to the email address provided by the EO and shall be printed by the EO at least two (2) working days before the PJA election. The Voters’ List shall contain the following information on all Second level Judges included in the November Supreme Court Payroll: a. Employee Number b. Name of Judge (Last Name, Firs Name, Middle Initial/Name) c. Station d. DQ (If Judge is disqualified to vote as determined by the PJA) e. Signature PHILIPPINE JUDGES ASSOCIATION
