Why an e-portfolio?
• Creating an e-portfolio allows you to showcase your talents to prospective
schools and employers
• You are given the opportunity to highlight assignments you are proud of,
achievements, awards and recognitions
• The e-portfolio focuses on your strengths and growth as a student

Keep in Mind
• All students are required to build and maintain an e-portfolio
• A grade, in English class, will be associated with the tasks assigned
• Additionally, there will be checkpoints in your other classes
• You must follow the format and specific instructions provided in class
• Students will be given resources to complete the assigned tasks
• If you are ever unsure about a step- please ask!

• Each day you must come prepared with a charged laptop
• At the beginning of each session, please have your laptops open and be
ready to get started

Saving the Banner Picture
• Open your email and select “Download” to open the attachment
• Select “Save As” and save the banner to your Pictures folder

Getting Started: Step 1• Open an internet page and go to www.weebly.com and click on “sign up”

Step 2• Enter your name, CWNC email, and CWNC password

Step 3• Select “site”

Step 4• Select “Clean Lines” as the “theme” for your site

Step 5• Select to use a subdomain and enter your first name, middle initial, last name, and
no spaces

If the domain is
taken, add CWNC
after your name.
Step 6• You now have a blank page and are ready to create your own site!

Step 7• Double click on “MY SITE” and replace with your full name
Include your
first name,
middle initial,
and last name.

Step 8• Select “PAGES” to add and delete pages
Click on the
“+” to add
pages

Step 9• After clicking “+” select “Standard Page”

Step 10• Name the page and click save
Create a new
standard page for
each of the
following titles:
• CAP
• Electives
• English• Extracurricular
• Mathematics
• Religion
• Science
• Social Studies

Step 11• Select the “About” and “Contact” pages and hit “delete”
Both the
“About” AND
“Contact”
pages should be
removed.

Step 12• Once all pages are built, drag and drop pages in alphabetical order except for home
