The New Holland demolition excavators feature afirst class safety cab with top (FOPS) and front guards,tested according to International Standard ISO 10262.“Operator Protective Guards” Level II: the highest levelin terms of safety.

SAFETY FIRSTOutstanding safety and visibility.

The cabs are equipped with extraworking lights and with an additionalwasher and wiper to keep the transparentroof clean, thereby enhancing visibility inany weather condition.

A30° tiltable cab, fully hydraulicallyoperated, is available as an option.

Electronic sensors are positioned at thethree articulation points of boom and arms,keeping the relevant angles constantly undercontrol.The signals coming from these sensors areprocessed by the onboard computer andmonitored in the multifunctional display locatedinside the cab.If, while working, the relevant angles reachthe pre-set safety limits, optical and acousticwarnings alert the operator.

Heavier counterweights, which do notamend the standard machine dimensions,provide outstanding stability.The E485's extendable undercarriage gaugefurther enhances its already superb stability.

Slow return valves and special softwareinstalled in the on-board computer provideextra smooth operation when working in highreach.

Anti-drop valves, fitted to all demolitionattachment cylinders, avoid any riskconnected to a sudden loss of hydraulicpressure.

At the top of boom, a robust shield ispositioned in such a way to deflect any debristhat falls during demolition, thus increasingoperators’ protection and safety

The E385LC and E485LCH feature an ultra-longattachment which, when fitted with a crusher, ensurehigh-quality demolition work. Featuring technologythat has been proven in the field, these specializedmachines are the result of the many years experienceand expertise that New Holland has acquired ondemolition sites throughout the world.

Demolition Excavators work in very severeconditions.That’s why all New Holland demolition machinesfeature:- a robust shield which protects the crushercylinder- hydraulic hose layout designed to providemaximum protection.- a bolted undercover to protect valves andhoses positioned inside the undercarriage.- a centralised automatic lubricationsystem which reduces both failure risksand maintenance costs.

RELIABLE DESIGN

New Holland Demolition Booms are of segmented-type design to enable configuration to the most suitableworking height.Removable third and fourth boom sections maximisethe job versatility of the E385 and E485.The machines’ reach can be adjusted to efficientlymatch structures up to 23 or 27 meters high: the heightof a 7 or 9 storey building.An optional monoblock adapter allows the operator toconvert both New Holland Demolition Machines intostandard excavators to perform normal digging activitiesA mechanical coupler makes it easier to change theattachments.Stop valves prevent oil leakage during the operation.Transportation cages are available upon request.
