3. The last time you updated the domain name.
I there are still problems in accessing your domain name, contact the service center.
4. Can I register two domain names to separately accessmy http and tp servers?
No, you cannot. You can only register one domain name orone router. Use port mapping to implement security in thenetwork.
5. Ater restarting the router, why is it that I see dierentWAN IPs in MS DOS and in the router congurationpage?
This is normal. The interval time between the ISP DNS serverand ASUS DDNS results in dierent WAN IPs in MS DOS andin the router conguration page. Dierent ISPs may havedierent interval time or IP updating.
6. Is the ASUS DDNS service ree, or is it just a trialversion?
The ASUS DDNS service is a ree and embedded service insome ASUS routers. Check your ASUS router i it supports theASUS DDNS service.

Preamble
The licenses or most sotware are designed to take away your
reedom to share and change it. By contrast, the GNU General
Public License is intended to guarantee your reedom to shareand change ree sotware--to make sure the sotware is ree or all
its users. This General Public License applies to most o the Free
Sotware Foundations sotware and to any other program whose
authors commit to using it. (Some other Free Sotware Foundation
sotware is covered by the GNU Library General Public License
instead.) You can apply it to your programs, too.
When we speak o ree sotware, we are reerring to reedom, not
price. Our General Public Licenses are designed to make sure that
you have the reedom to distribute copies o ree sotware (and
charge or this service i you wish), that you receive source code or
can get it i you want it, that you can change the sotware or use
pieces o it in new ree programs; and that you know you can dothese things.
To protect your rights, we need to make restrictions that orbid
anyone to deny you these rights or to ask you to surrender the
rights. These restrictions translate to certain responsibilities or
you i you distribute copies o the sotware, or i you modiy it.
For example, i you distribute copies o such a program, whether
gratis or or a ee, you must give the recipients all the rights that
you have. You must make sure that they, too, receive or can get
the source code. And you must show them these terms so they
know their rights.
-
7/29/2019 E6772 RT-N53 Manual for CD
48/58
48
We protect your rights with two steps: (1) copyright the
sotware, and (2) oer you this license which gives you legal
permission to copy, distribute and/or modiy the sotware.
Also, or each authors protection and ours, we want to make
certain that everyone understands that there is no warranty or
this ree sotware. I the sotware is modied by someone else
and passed on, we want its recipients to know that what they
have is not the original, so that any problems introduced by
others will not reect on the original authors reputations.
Finally, any ree program is threatened constantly by sotware
patents. We wish to avoid the danger that redistributors o a
ree program will individually obtain patent licenses, in eect
making the program proprietary. To prevent this, we have made
it clear that any patent must be licensed or everyones ree use
or not licensed at all.The precise terms and conditions or copying, distribution and
modication ollow.
Terms&conditionsforcopying,distribution,&modication
0. This License applies to any program or other work whichcontains a notice placed by the copyright holder saying itmay be distributed under the terms o this General PublicLicense. The Program, below, reers to any such programor work, and a work based on the Program means eitherthe Program or any derivative work under copyright law:that is to say, a work containing the Program or a portiono it, either verbatim or with modications and/or translated
into another language. (Hereinater, translation is includedwithout limitation in the term modication.) Each licenseeis addressed as you.

49/58
49
Activities other than copying, distribution and modicationare not covered by this License; they are outside its scope. The act o running the Program is not restricted, and theoutput rom the Program is covered only i its contentsconstitute a work based on the Program (independent ohaving been made by running the Program). Whether that istrue depends on what the Program does.
1. You may copy and distribute verbatim copies o the Programssource code as you receive it, in any medium, provided thatyou conspicuously and appropriately publish on each copy
an appropriate copyright notice and disclaimer o warranty;keep intact all the notices that reer to this License and to theabsence o any warranty; and give any other recipients o theProgram a copy o this License along with the Program.
You may charge a ee or the physical act o transerring acopy, and you may at your option oer warranty protection inexchange or a ee.
2. You may modiy your copy or copies o the Program or anyportion o it, thus orming a work based on the Program, andcopy and distribute such modications or work under theterms o Section 1 above, provided that you also meet all othese conditions:
a) You must cause the modied les to carry prominent
notices stating that you changed the les and the date oany change.
b) You must cause any work that you distribute or publish, that in whole or in part contains or is derived rom theProgram or any part thereo, to be licensed as a whole at nocharge to all third parties under the terms o this License.
c) I the modied program normally reads commandsinteractively when run, you must cause it, when started
running or such interactive use in the most ordinary way, toprint or display an announcement including an appropriatecopyright notice and a notice that there is no warranty (or
-
7/29/2019 E6772 RT-N53 Manual for CD

50
else, saying that you provide a warranty) and that users mayredistribute the program under these conditions, and tellingthe user how to view a copy o this License. (Exception: i theProgram itsel is interactive but does not normally print suchan announcement, your work based on the Program is notrequired to print an announcement.)
These requirements apply to the modied work as a whole.I identiable sections o that work are not derived rom theProgram, and can be reasonably considered independent andseparate works in themselves, then this License, and its terms,do not apply to those sections when you distribute them as
separate works. But when you distribute the same sectionsas part o a whole which is a work based on the Program, the distribution o the whole must be on the terms o thisLicense, whose permissions or other licensees extend to theentire whole, and thus to each and every part regardless owho wrote it.
Thus, it is not the intent o this section to claim rights orcontest your rights to work written entirely by you; rather,
the intent is to exercise the right to control the distribution oderivative or collective works based on the Program.
In addition, mere aggregation o another work not based onthe Program with the Program (or with a work based on theProgram) on a volume o a storage or distribution mediumdoes not bring the other work under the scope o thisLicense.
3. You may copy and distribute the Program (or a work basedon it, under Section 2) in object code or executable ormunder the terms o Sections 1 and 2 above provided that youalso do one o the ollowing:
a) Accompany it with the complete corresponding machine-readable source code, which must be distributed under theterms o Sections 1 and 2 above on a medium customarilyused or sotware interchange; or,
-
7/29/2019 E6772 RT-N53 Manual for CD
51/58
51
b) Accompany it with a written oer, valid or at least threeyears, to give any third party, or a charge no more than yourcost o physically perorming source distribution, a completemachine-readable copy o the corresponding source code, tobe distributed under the terms o Sections 1 and 2 above ona medium customarily used or sotware interchange; or,
c) Accompany it with the inormation you received as tothe oer to distribute corresponding source code. (Thisalternative is allowed only or noncommercial distribution andonly i you received the program in object code or executableorm with such an oer, in accord with Subsection b above.)
The source code or a work means the preerred orm othe work or making modications to it. For an executablework, complete source code means all the source codeor all modules it contains, plus any associated interacedenition les, plus the scripts used to control compilationand installation o the executable. However, as a specialexception, the source code distributed need not includeanything that is normally distributed (in either source or
binary orm) with the major components (compiler, kernel, and so on) o the operating system on which the executableruns, unless that component itsel accompanies theexecutable.
I distribution o executable or object code is made byoering access to copy rom a designated place, thenoering equivalent access to copy the source code rom thesame place counts as distribution o the source code, even
though third parties are not compelled to copy the sourcealong with the object code.
4. You may not copy, modiy, sublicense, or distribute theProgram except as expressly provided under this License. Anyattempt otherwise to copy, modiy, sublicense or distributethe Program is void, and will automatically terminate your
rights under this License. However, parties who have receivedcopies, or rights, rom you under this License will not havetheir licenses terminated so long as such parties remain in ullcompliance.

5. You are not required to accept this License, since you havenot signed it. However, nothing else grants you permissionto modiy or distribute the Program or its derivative works. These actions are prohibited by law i you do not accept thisLicense. Thereore, by modiying or distributing the Program(or any work based on the Program), you indicate youracceptance o this License to do so, and all its terms andconditions or copying, distributing or modiying the Programor works based on it.
6. Each time you redistribute the Program (or any work based
on the Program), the recipient automatically receives a licenserom the original licensor to copy, distribute or modiy theProgram subject to these terms and conditions. You may notimpose any urther restrictions on the recipients exerciseo the rights granted herein. You are not responsible orenorcing compliance by third parties to this License.
7. I, as a consequence o a court judgment or allegation opatent inringement or or any other reason (not limited topatent issues), conditions are imposed on you (whether bycourt order, agreement or otherwise) that contradict theconditions o this License, they do not excuse you rom theconditions o this License. I you cannot distribute so as tosatisy simultaneously your obligations under this License andany other pertinent obligations, then as a consequence you
may not distribute the Program at all. For example, i a patentlicense would not permit royalty-ree redistribution o theProgram by all those who receive copies directly or indirectlythrough you, then the only way you could satisy both it andthis License would be to rerain entirely rom distribution othe Program.
I any portion o this section is held invalid or unenorceableunder any particular circumstance, the balance o the section
is intended to apply and the section as a whole is intended toapply in other circumstances.
It is not the purpose o this section to induce you to inringeany patents or other property right claims or to contest

53
validity o any such claims; this section has the sole purposeo protecting the integrity o the ree sotware distributionsystem, which is implemented by public license practices. Many people have made generous contributions to thewide range o sotware distributed through that system inreliance on consistent application o that system; it is up tothe author/donor to decide i he or she is willing to distributesotware through any other system and a licensee cannotimpose that choice.
This section is intended to make thoroughly clear what isbelieved to be a consequence o the rest o this License.
8. I the distribution and/or use o the Program is restrictedin certain countries either by patents or by copyrightedinteraces, the original copyright holder who places theProgram under this License may add an explicit geographicaldistribution limitation excluding those countries, so thatdistribution is permitted only in or among countries not thusexcluded. In such case, this License incorporates the limitationas i written in the body o this License.
9. The Free Sotware Foundation may publish revised and/ornew versions o the General Public License rom time totime. Such new versions will be similar in spirit to the presentversion, but may dier in detail to address new problems orconcerns.
Each version is given a distinguishing version number. I theProgram species a version number o this License whichapplies to it and any later version, you have the optiono ollowing the terms and conditions either o that versionor o any later version published by the Free SotwareFoundation. I the Program does not speciy a version numbero this License, you may choose any version ever published bythe Free Sotware Foundation.
