Who we are
Founded in 1998, as a Retrofit specialist EAD
Aerospace offers innovative retrofit packages for the
aviation industry and FAA and EASA certification
through the supplemental type certificate (STC)
process. Our domains of approval are AVIONICS,
STRUCTURE and INTERIORS. We handle retrofit and
refurbishment projects ranging from commercial
and military aircraft or helicopters, to VIP & business
jets. For Cabin, Connectivity, Systems, Avionics and
Interiors modifications, we innovate to enhance the
quality of our work. At EAD Aerospace we believe in
providing the highest possible customized solution
from conception to completion. Our locations allow
for multiple certifications capabilities (FAA, EASA,

EAD Aerospace has a strong experience in airlines overall cabin upgrades involving seats, partitions, bag-bins, galleys and toilets.
For example in 2014, EAD Aerospace delivered a full engineering and certified package (over 1,200 drawings in support
of the Service Bulletin) for a B777-200 modification encompassing:
- First Class deletion,
- Modification of Business Class seats to go lie-flat, extension of Business class and repitch of Business Class and Economy class,
- Addition of new bag bins and relocation of multiple bag bins,
- Complete reorganization of the PSU channels,
- Modification of cabin lighting,
- Fabrication and addition of new closets and wardrobe,
- Removal of partitions, fabrication and addition of new partitions, including 16g partitions,
- Shifting of several galleys and toilets, design and fabrication of additional parts required for vacuum and wastes,
- Fabrication and installation of new curtains and rails,
- Extension of existing Panasonic IFE,
- Design, fabrication, certification of Ottomans for each Business Class seat,
- Complete laminate changes.
EAD Aerospace salient facts:
- The whole engineering project took less than 8 months and the entire project was completed in less than a year
- All parts were produced and installed on the third quarter of 2014.
- EAD obtained the EASA and ANAC STC’s for large cabin modification of 10-B777 series aircraft one week ahead the planning
