  • Eagle Scanner Receiver | WCDMA/GSM

    Transcoms Eagle WCDMA/GSM Scanner supports WCDMA, HSDPA, GSM, GPRS and EDGE networks measurement. This high speed scanner is used for scanning the air-interface in the mobile wireless network. Unlike user equipment, this scanner works such a way that it is independent to the network and therefore, it is highly suitable for use in network optimization.

    Eagle Scanner Receiver for WCDMA/GSM is a DSP-based software radio that is widely deployed on the field to carry out Cell Tower Site Survey, Base Station Monitoring, Wireless Coverage Analysis and Network Optimization.

    Measurement of GSM900/1800 and WCDMA Downlink/Uplink Frequency Range Measurement of GSM900/1800 and WCDMA modulation signal and CW signal Measurement of GSM/GPRS/EDGE and WCDMA/HSDPA Built-in GPS that supports external device Provides high-speed measurements, GSM: 700 channel/s(CW), WCDMA: 800 channel/s(CW) CCH Scan: Measures and reports BCCH, BSIC, RxLev, C/I etc. of the GSM cell of interest Pilot (CPICH) Scan: Measures and reports Ec/Io for specified pilots in the Common Pilot Channel (CPICH).

    RSCP (Receive Strength Code Power), also known as Ec, can be derived from the reported Ec/Io and Io.

    Peak Ec/Io, Aggregate Ec/Io, Delay Spread, Rake Finger Count, SIR, Time Offset, PSCH_Ec/Io, SSCH_Ec/Io, and Io, are measurable parameters for this scan.

    Automatic detection of all frequency points within the operating frequency band (or user-defined frequency points) and at the same time performs cell parameter measurements.

    Main Features

    Measures and reports RSSI of a given frequency/channel list. The measurement bandwidth is selectable: 30 kHz or 200 kHz (GSM)/200 kHz or 3.84 MHz (WCDMA).

    Distance Based Sampling option can also be used. Enables decoding of BCCH Type 3 message, including Cell ID, MCC, MNC and LAC parameters. Returns top N Pilot (CPICH) in descending Ec/Io order where N < 32. Same measurement parameters

    are available as with the CPICH scan. Top N Pilot Scan is preferred CPICH operational mode.

    Support HSDPA measurement.
