Hi - Low

“ How high can you jump”? The Eagles put their gross motor skills to the test during a game of “Hi- Low”. Brandon assists Mrs. Chamalka with holding the rope as the other friends practice jumping with two feet. Alexa gets way up over the rope! Yixin plays it cool and steps over the rope with ease. Mia and Colette decide to work together and hold hands to jump over the rope. Everyone bursts into laughter and cheer as the children continue to jump over the rope with success!

Bubble- Palooza!

“ First you take the liquid and you mix it, you mix it! Bubble-Bubble Palooza” chant the teachers as they introduce a bubble-pop counting game. The children engage their math skills counting the number of bubbles they can POP! “I got it” yells Caleb! What a fun way to practice counting while being active outside. “Bubble, bubble, bubble, POP” shout the Eagles!

The Clean Up Day

Adventure!

The children end the Recycle study unit with a fun review of identifying items based on categories. The Eagles race the clock to clean up the playground! During this adventure, the children are tasked with collecting trash and sorting it accordingly. Henry quickly identifies his item as “recycle” while Maren collects a mixture of “trash items” and “recycle items”. Caleb, Calvin and Ridley assist each other in collecting items by dragging the big box around the playground instead of running back and forth to the box.

Important updates: SHOW & SHARE: Bring in items used for camping (small tent, sleeping bag, camping story books, flashlights, etc)

Upcoming Dates: MCCA will be closed June 15th for Changeover Day. Water Play Days: Tues/Thurs. Set to start June 18th. See a staff for details!
