TRYOUTS

•MON NOV 7TH

•Varsity: 2:45pm

•Sophomore/Freshmen: 6:00pm

TRYOUTS• EVERYONE SHOULD BE READY TO TRYOUT ON NOV 7TH

• Exceptions:

• Injuries – must be notified prior to NOV 7th

• VARSITY FOOTBALL – will tryout as soon as season ends

• Must be registered for BASKETBALL on RegisterMyAthlete before NOV 7th

• Sub-varsity football players will tryout for Freshmen & Sophomore teams during regular tryouts

Minimum Requirements• Academic Eligibility

• 1st quarter: 2.0 gpa & not more than 1 failing grade

• UHSAA considers F / NG / I as failing grade until made up

• Letter grades cannot be made up to restore eligibility

• Physical

• New every school year (JUNE 2016 – now)

• If profile is missing medical or insurance information, you will not be able to register for a sport until updated

Practice Times

•Varsity – after school / Saturday morning

• Possible 2-a-days after tryouts, before games start

•Freshmen/Sophomore – after Varsity practice

• Saturdays – tbd

• Soph / JV / Varsity – Tuesday / Friday

• 3:30 / 5:15 / 7:00

• Freshmen – Monday / Wednesday

• Times vary

• Expectation is that freshmen and sophomores attend Varsity games

• Accent can also be white, grey, navy, black

• WHITE socks

•NO: Arm Sleeves; Long Sleeves; Full Length Tights; Headbands; Sharpie Tattoos; . . .

Moratoriums

• Thanksgiving: NOV 24-27

• Christmas/Winter: DEC 23-27

•New Year’s: JAN 1

• Plan on practicing / playing all other days except Sundays

“Optional” In-Season

•NONE (and all)

• Consequences for any missed practices/games (including being late) will be determined by Coach Lowe and the coaching staff

• Consequences are not up for debate
