What we do East meets West aims to provide the global view for youth and experience the diversity of culture to arouse the youth to explore the culture. Through the AIESEC international exchange platform. Cooperating with school, corporate and NGOs. Bringing in international volunteers.

To offer courses in school related the culture and custom. And empower the future generation to get up their courage to face the difficulty. facing culture different, speak in public and any other things to challenge themselves.

Other key point We are long-term local project. Whenever you arrived in our city Ningbo China, you can start the project in any time during our activities period.

Who we are We are AIESEC UNNC (The University of Nottingham Ningbo), which is one of the 35 branches of the Chinese mainland area. It was officially introduced in Nottingham in September 2008. After Six years, AIESEC has become the most influential student organizations in UNNC campus, and it won the price several times in the school and nation.

UNNC is in the top one percent of more than 7,500 higher education institutions worldwide. With true global perspective, Nottingham has its campuses in the UK, China and Malaysia and recruits staff and students from over 70 countries and regions.

UNNC was the first Sino-foreign university to open its doors in China. This key player in the education sector offers degree programs subject to the same quality assurance processes as in the UK and nurtures global mindsets.

Internationally, Nottingham University was ranked 74th in the 2011 QS World University Rankings. In the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF), which assesses the quality of research in UK higher education institutions, Nottingham is ranked 26th by GPA and 8th for research power.

Job description

Culture communication: 1. Visit local famous historic and cultural sites 2. Learn the traditional Chinese custom and culture 3. Explore a real China through the city tour and daily life 4. Introduce and present your culture in various occasions

Education: 1. Teach in local high school 2. Design course related to culture experience 3. Organize activities to leader ship cultivation

trainee criteria

1. Interested in education and cultural diversity,relating academic background preferred.

2. Excellent English, communication skills with teenagers, teaching experience preferred.

3. High sense of responsibility and discipline, active participation during the whole project.

4. Adaptability in a multi-cultural environment, respect for culture diversity, comprehension of own culture.

✨Required preparationVisa 1. F visa for 6 weeks is required. 2. Health certificate stating the intern's heath status is required. The interns shall be perfectly truthful with the real situation of their visa application and take the initiative to seek help on all sides. We can not guarantee the successful acquisition of visa.
