Homily Renewal of Baptismal Promises: Response: I do! On Easter Sunday, in place of reciting the Creed, we renew our baptismal promises. Our Lenten journey of fasting, prayer and almsgiving has led us to this moment when we re-commit ourselves to Christ. Join in joyfully! Communion Hymn: I am the Bread of Life Verse 1: I am the bread of Life, you who come to me shall not hunger; and who believe in me shall not thirst. No one can come to me unless the Father beckons.

Verse 5: Yes, Lord, I believe that you are the Christ: the Son of God who has come into the world! Act of Spiritual Communion (Pope Francis) My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament of the altar. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
