2. Introducing Direct DispenseOur Direct Dispense system works by filtering the water justbefore the point of dispense, rather than as it enters the cooler.This means that the water retains antibacterial propertiesright up until just before it is dispensed.
How It Works
4.Cartridge replacements are very simple -the old cartridge is simply removed andthe new cartridge ‘clicks’ into placein seconds.
5.Only this small amount of water is moreat risk to contamination.
1.The new filter is slotted into the cooler.There are no pipes or wires to attach, it isa simple ‘plug and go’ mechanism thatcan be inserted and removed in a matterof seconds.
2.The water in the reservoir is cooled. Allthe water in the reservoir has not beenfiltered yet so it retains its anti-bacterialproperties, unlike in other coolers.
3.As water is dispensed it passes throughthe filters. Therefore only the smallamount of water in this cartridgebecomes susceptible to contamination.
Other reservoir types filter water as it enters the cooler,meaning that greater amounts of water are left unprotectedagainst bacterial growth. Fixed Reservoir, Direct Chill and UVLight systems leave up to 80 times more water vulnerable tocontamination when compared to our Direct Dispense System.

3. Direct Dispense'Direct Dispense' is Ebac's latest technological advancementthat revolutionises POU sanitisation and reduces the riskof micro-bacterial contamination by 98%. It dramaticallyreduces the volume of water that is susceptible tocontamination.
Sanitise 40% More Coolers Per DayDeveloped in 2008, our Direct Dispense system is our latesttechnological advancement that reduces the time and costsassociated with sanitisation of POU watercoolers. Only available inour FMax POU and unlike other methods of sanitisation whichrequire time consuming and skilled maintenance, our DirectDispense system can be easily changed in less than 20 seconds -meaning you can sanitise up to 40% more watercoolers per day.
The Direct Dispense system incorporates a ‘slot and go’ mechanismwhich makes changing filters incredibly easy.
Reduces Contamination Risk By 98%With Direct Dispense the amount of water that is susceptible tocontamination is reduced by more than 98% - this is because thewater supply is not filtered before it enters the cooler - but just beforethe point of dispense.
Alternative methods such as Direct Chill still have approx 500mlvulnerable to contamination, whilst UV filtration systems areineffective at cleaning all parts of the cooler such as pipes anddispense taps and therefore still have about 60ml of watersusceptible to contamination (see fig 1.2).
Direct Dispense has the lowest volume of susceptible water of allthese methods at just 30ml - the result is a system which gives a 98%reduction in the possibility of bacterial contamination - offering youand your customers complete peace of mind and yet more industryleading technology from Ebac.

4. The Benefits of Direct Chill - Without the High CostsOur Direct Dispense System features of all benefits of DirectChill - water does not come into contact with air in a reservoir -but without the high costs associated with purchasing andmaintaining a Direct Chill Watercooler.
Comparison with Direct ChillDirect Chill is considered by many to be one of the best coolingsystems available - however many are discouraged from usingDirect Chill because of the high cost of the coolers and increasedrunning costs.
The advantage of Direct Chill is that water does not come intocontact with air whilst in the cooler - this means the water iscleaner and less susceptible to bacterial growth - this is becausewhen water mixes with air, it is a catalyst for growth of bacteria.
The FMax POU with Direct Dispense has the exact same benefit -water does not come into contact with air whilst inside the cooler,meaning that the water stays cleaner for longer. However, theFMax POU has the added benefit of not being as complicated asDirect Chill watercoolers and being cheaper to run as the coolingsystem is more efficient.
High Burst RateResearch has shown that during peak demand times such as lunchbreaks a Watercooler can have as many as 8 cups of cold waterdispensed consecutively. With many competitor coolers this wouldresult in some people receiving un-chilled water - which can causedissatisfaction and discourages customers from drinking fromthe cooler.
The FMax POU features an extra large 3.0 litre reservoir - which willdispense up to 20 cups of cold water consecutively - this ensuresthat during busy periods there is sufficient cold water available andcustomers are not supplied with un-chilled water - increasingcustomer satisfaction and encouraging them to drink more water.
