-Could not attend as much as she wished because she had a small child at home and no place to leave her.-Lack of transportation-Wants bus driver to be more responsible-leaves with children standing up and never on time. -Thanks for educating my son.-Is it possible to get the employees’ children on buses to the parent’s home campus?-Cafeteria- Healthy foods are offered (cold lunches) and I am grateful for that. However, the hot lunches sometimes seem to be over-cooked and not at all appealing , ex., spaghetti, not appetizing, -Thank you very much. My child has learned and grown this year. -Thank you for allowing my son to learn so much. I couldn’t be any prouder. He is my world and to see him achieve so much has made me so proud. Not only has he expanded in his learning but I know he is very much safe (bus rides and during school).
Comments:-I think the ribbons, coupons, and incentives are a added bonus. I am encouraged by my child’s future, to make sure she attends school. -ECDC is great. Bus garage needs help. I only had one problem this year and it was due to the bus not calling or informing parents if a bus was going to be late or changing routes. My son and nephew were left when I was unaware that they were coming early. Scared and with an adult I didn’t know. Parents need to be more informed as well as the school. -The perfect attendance rewards are not an incentive for me. I send my child to school every day because it benefits him. But he feels very proud when he is rewarded for his achievements. -I appreciate the nurse calling. -Parent disagreed with # 18, said her son wasn’t motivated to come to school because he had never been Super Star, but teacher reports that he actually had been in October. -Child has a very good teacher and has helped my son learn so much. -Homework should be more challenging.- I wish I could participate more, hoped to attend VIP before end of school. -My child’s teachers are great! She has learned a lot of material this year. I feel that Pre-K has prepared her well for Kinder. -My husband made several attempts to participate in VIP. Twice they refused him! Because no one else showed and because he was about 5 minutes late. -Child rode bus -- and parent was not happy with the way kids are discriminated because of race (did not check A, B, or C)
