Introduction

The user guide is designed for the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF) users who

are responsible for managing and maintaining and configuring Standards. The document gives users

step by step directions on how to create, update and view details for each of the standards in the table

below.

Pre-requisites To access the Standards functionality on the eCert system a user needs to be registered and have

the valid permissions to manage standards.

Standards Management To access the standards management menu on eCert login and on the home page select the arrow

icon next to the Standards menu option as highlighted in the figure below:

Once clicked the Standards menu list collapses as shown above. To manage a standard click on the

name of the standard on the menu. All the standards pages have a common menu items which gives

access to the following functionality:

Link Item Function Create New Click to add a new standard to the list Details Click to view the selected standard details Edit Click to update standard details Disable Click to deactivate Standard Enable Click to activate standard Back to List Click to go back to the listing page for a standard

Please Note: Throughout the whole document all standard field names marked with a * are

required fields

Additional Declarations

Additional Declarations Listing

The page displays the list of all available additional declarations in the system. From the listing page

the user can access links to perform operations such as Create New, Edit, view Details, Enable or

Disable an additional declaration.

To access the page, from the Standards menu click Additional Declarations and the list is displayed

as shown in the figure below:

Create Additional Declaration On the create page the user can add a new additional declaration to the system. To access the

Create additional declaration page, from the Additional Declarations Listing Page click on the Create

New link on the top left of the grid. The create page displays as shown below:

To create new Additional Declaration enter the information as follows:

Field Name Description Code Enter the code for the additional declaration Reference In ISPM 12 Enter the ISPM 12 reference for the additional

available FreeText Enter free text for additional declaration Is Enabled Tick to save the additional declaration as active

Click on the Create button to save the new standard to the system.

Countries

Country Listing The page displays the list of all available countries in the system. From the listing page the user can

access links to perform operations such as Create New, Edit, view Details, Enable or Disable a

country.

To access the page, from the Standards menu click Countries and the list is displayed as shown in the

figure below:

Create Country On the create page the user can add a new country to the system. To access the Create country

page, from the Countries Listing Page click on the Create New link on the top left of the grid. The

create page displays as shown below:

To create new Country enter the information as follows:

ISO Code* Enter the 3 character ISO code for country

Country Name* Enter the country name

Region* Select region from dropdown

Description Enter country description

Is Enabled Tick to save the country as active


Declarations

Declarations Listing The page displays the list of all available declarations in the system. From the listing page the user

can access links to perform operations such as Create New, Edit, view Details, Enable or Disable the

declaration.

To access the page, from the Standards menu click Declarations and the list is displayed as shown in

the figure below:

Create Declaration On the create page the user can add a new declaration to the system. To access the Create

declaration page, from the declarations Listing Page click on the Create New link on the top left of

the grid. The create page displays as shown below:

Document Types Listing

The page displays the list of all available document types in the system. From the listing page the

user can access links to perform operations such as Create New, Edit, view Details, Enable or

Disable a document type.

To access the page, from the Standards menu click Document types and the list is displayed as

shown in the figure below:

Create Document Type On the create page the user can add a new document type to the system. To access the Create

document type page, from the Document Types Listing Page click on the Create New link on the top

left of the grid. The create page displays as shown below:

displayed as shown in the figure below:

in the figure below:

field.

To access the page, from the Standards menu click Flexi fields and the list is displayed as shown in

the figure below:

Create Flexi Field On the create page the user can add a new flexi field to the system. To access the Create flexi field

page, from the Flexi Fields Listing Page click on the Create New link on the top left of the grid. The

National Plant Protection Organization (NPPO) Under the NPPO Standards menu item the user can manage and view all the information pertaining

to this standard.

NPPOs Listing The page displays the list of all available NPPOs in the system. From the listing page the user can

access links to perform operations such as Create New, Edit, view Details, Enable or Disable a NPPO.

To access the page, from the Standards menu click NPPOs and the list is displayed as shown in the

figure below:
