STEP 1: Purchase the ECG Certificate Course

Go to Your AMT Login

Visit www.americanmedtech.org

Click on the My AMT Login tab.

Login to Your AMT Account

If you have never registered with AMT, click here to create an account.

Login to your AMT account.



Go to the AMT Store

Click onAMT Store, and then ECG Certificate.



Add ECG Certificate to Your Cart

Click on the Checkbox under Add to Cart, and then Add Items To Cart.


Read the Attestation


Click the Checkbox that best fits your eligibility and then Submit.

If you attest that you do not meet the required ECG eligibility criteria, it is not recommended that you complete the course and it will not be added to your cart.


Checkout

Click Checkout.

If you are not logged in, you will either need to Log In or Create a Profile to access the course.

Once you are logged in, you will need to complete the Cart Payment Page.


Time to Complete the Course

• Once purchased, you will have 90 days to complete the course and final assessment.

• The course is self-paced and can be started/stopped at any time during the 90-day period.

Login to your AMT account and go to My Homepage.

If you are already logged in, when you click My Homepage you will automatically be taken to the screen shown on the next slide.

Understand the Program Structure

• 7 modules, each with 1-5 lessons• Lessons have Check for Understanding

questions within• Each lesson has a 5-6 point quiz

– Quizzes can be taken 4 times• 100 question final assessment at the end of all

the modules– Final assessment can be taken once

• 5 hours of CE awarded• Certificate expires in 5 years


Resuming the Presentation

• Should you need to stop mid-presentation, you can pick up where you left off the next time you enter the presentation.

Complete all quizzes in modules 1-7.

Quizzes can be accessed at the end of each module, or under Activities.

Note that you can take the quiz up to 4 times.


Quiz Summary of Attempt• Answer all questions, and click next at the bottom of

the page.• You will be directed to the summary of attempt page.

Questions that were not answered will show here in white.

Once you have confirmed you have answered all of the questions click Submit and Finish


Review Your Quiz Answers

Review your answers and click Finish Review


Quiz Attempts

• After each quiz attempt you will be shown whether you got the questions correct, the correct answers and an explanation.

• You will also be shown a summary of attempts with feedback.

Note: If you need to stop the assessment, scroll to the bottom and click on Save without submitting so you do not lose your answers.

Take the Final Assessment

To take the final assessment, click on Final Assessment for ECG Certificate.

Then click Attempt quiz now and Start attempt

Note that you can only take the final exam one time.


Final Assessment Not Showing

If your screen looks like this, with Final Assessment for ECG Certificate in grey, it means you have not completed all of the required activities to take the final assessment.

A list of activities that still need to be completed will show here.


Review of Final Assessment

After you click Submit all and finish within the final assessment, you will

be taken to this review page.


Review your answers and click Finish Review


Print Your ECG CertificateIf you want a printed copy of your certificate, return to the topic outline page and click on the Certificate of Completion.


This is what your certificate will look like and you can print it at your convenience.

Note: Your CE points will automatically be added to AMTrax.

Your Acclaim Badge

• What Is Acclaim?– Acclaim is a new badging platform developed by

Pearson. Acclaim partners with organizations to provide a badge to showcase your achievements.

• What is a Badge?– Think of a badge from Acclaim as a verified, web-

enabled achievement that can be shared across the web in a secure and validated process.

– Badges communicate who did something, who says they did it, and why employers should care about what was done.

To set up your Acclaim account and accept your badge click Accept your badge.

Complete the form with your information and click Create My Account.

Then check your email for your confirmation.

Find your confirmation email and click Confirm My Email.

You will then be taken back to the Acclaim website to Sign In and confirm your email.

Decide the social networks on which you wish to share your badge and then click Connect.
