The cd2e is a team of environmental and business experts dedicated to supporting the environmental
sector in Northern France and abroad.We bring together environmental and business expertise in a
“one stop shop” for environmental projects.We work in partnership with regional development organisations,
business support structures, industry peak bodies and international peers.
We deliver specific programs for businesses in the water treatment, energy, eco-construction, eco-materials and waste/recycling sectors. We add value by clustering diverse organisations (businesses, research bodies, non-for-profits…) according to their expertise and desire to create new solutions.

The Aquapris cluster regroups businesses, research and training institutes anchored in the St Omer region (in Northern France) to develop
new ways to manage water

“Made by the cd2e” :The solar training platform incorporates 22 PV
installations with 10 different technologies. It will generate 66 000 kWh of green energy
annually and enable research, training and
communication activities.

Resource and Skills Centre with key industry bodies brings together and
coordinates eco-construction initiatives, supports building professionals and helps to
develop training programmes.
- CALGREST brings together the expertise of 35 partners and 5 european projects to develop synergies and share knowledge on sustain-
able building at the european level.

The cd2e organises the annual European congress “Eco-technologies for the future” each June in Lille, www.eco-technologies.org. This congress helps local authorities, companies and research centres to exchange practice on developing and applying innovative environmental technologies.
The cd2e co-organises the annual professional environmental trade fair in Northern France each June in Lille : ENVIRONORD and its European contest for Eco-innovation.www.salon-environord.com
Life Cycle Analysis platform : [avnir]
The cd2e leads the [avnir] platform that brings together researchers, experts, local au-thorities and sectorised clusters in Northern France to integrate life cycle thinking into business. It is a resource centre and collaborative hub for Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), helping partners to use these methods through training, research and general support.
French project on sed-iments : Sédimatériaux
The cd2e coordinates the sedimatériaux project that encourage the emergence of new economic channels for the processing and recycling of sediments and provides operational sediment man-agement tools for port and river managers.
European project on innovation : EcomindThe cd2e is a partner of the Interreg project ECOMIND which helps small and medium sized companies overcome the barriers in developing and promoting innovative eco-technologies products and services.
