2017

eCommerce MoneyAfrica Confex 2017 has developed several new features including the Money Africa track which will focus on innovations in African FinTech products, from payments through to a plethora of financial and consumer services currently shaping the continent.

The eCommerce Africa conference sessions will examine various aspects of development in the industry: how online and mobile retailers are capitalising on growth opportunities; how omni-channel retailers are moving into a digital space; where the consumer is driving their own experience; the realities and challenges of cross-border expansion; and overcoming fulfillment concerns and driving logistics in the real world.

Our expanded advisory board, speaker panel, and increased African and international participation is in line with the industry as it seeks to create a Pan-African identity - a homogenous network of connected industries to deliver a uniquely African online experience. eCommerce MoneyAfrica will bring together industry thought-leaders who are pioneering change and development in the ecommerce sphere.

Now in its third year, The eCommerce MoneyAfrica Confex returns to Cape Town,

Bigger and Better than before.

This is Africa’s largest eCommerce and Fintech event! WHAT IS MONEY AFRICA???MoneyAfrica 2017 is a dedicated two day conference track that will examine how your existing business should align itself with mobile financial products. MoneyAfrica is a junction of mobile, retail and financial services, marketing capabilities, customer data and peripheral technology. FinTech, the often used ubiquitous term for new financial technology, is disrupting the way ordinary Africans manage and use their money, challenging the traditional institutions perceive and respond to them. MoneyAfrica defines how FinTech products are creating a cashless society, facilitating borderless transactions, and encouraging frictionless peer-to-peer financing.

The rise of telecom-driven financial services has left many banks and financial institutions chasing the market. In East Africa alone, over $3 million worth of transactions are expected to take place through FinTech platforms every hour, every day. The future of financial services and payments is geared towards customer service, driving loyalty, creating new revenue streams and services, and banking the informal trading sector.MoneyAfrica 2017 is designed to evaluate the rapidly growing demands of a historically underserviced market. As mobile infrastructure continues to uplift communities across the continent, applicable financing and payments finding their way to millions of new customers.

over $3 million worth of transactions are expected to take place through FinTech platforms every hour, every day.

It’s been fantastic. This is the best event of its kind that I have attended. You will see us next year 100%

The tech demo’s were extremely valuable for us. That encouraged a lot of people to come over to find out more

and for us to answer a few more in-depth questions.

It’s been amazing, everything has been well organised and well constructed. The energy from the people has been

amazing. No real improvement suggestions, it is quite snazzy, very warm, very pumped. Your staff are amazing really looked

after us. Superb service

We were here last year and there has definitely been a lot of growth, which is always a good indicator. i love our

locaSon; please reserve it for us next year.

I’ve attended many e-related conferences, so far this was the best in terms of content shared and engagement from

the audience. Looking forward to the next edition!

The other highlinghts are the actual calibre of the individuals who are attending the event. That’s very important when a company like Trustwave attends as an exhibitor at an event

like this - that we are able to meet with the right calibre people in order for us to promote our solutions. I think an

event like this for Africa is absolutely key.

Very good experience. Very good presenters, good topics spoken on - I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ve actually been

pleasantly surprised by some of the speakers. It was a nice range of people who presented. Well versed. Lots of history

and experience. I definitely will be back again

The Expo has been great this year, last year was fantastic and this year, well, I think it has exceeded our expecta-tions. We’ve picked some great leads and some good

quality leads. The amount of feet has almost doubled since last year and we find that it has definitely grown.

As an exhibitor at this event, it exceeded all expectations and the level of decision markers attending the event was very significant. Having attended many shows in South Africa over the past 5 years, this was the best

exhibition area by far

Ecommerce is growing strongly globally, and set to grow explosively in Africa.. Key drivers for ecommerce growth

are secure, efficient and convenient logistics of goods and payments: I am excited to see the newest developments in

the fintech arena presented at Money Africa 2017

The ecommerce landscape in Africa is evolving so fast that it’s almost impossible to keep up. I have found the eCom-merce Africa conference and exhibition to be one of the

best ways to be informed and meet those who are making major disruptive and innovative changes in all aspects of

ecommerce including a special new focus on fintech

I’ve been to many trade conferences, spoken at quite a few and can with ease say that this was probably the best on yet. Great crowd, full attendance, wide range of relevant

speakers. And to see a full house on day two was enough proof that people felt they got real value. Well done
