Re: Reference

“From the word go, Alistair showed enthusiasm towards the project. He was provided

with a skeleton brief to generate further business. From here, he developed a range of

marketing ideas, some of which will be used in the future, before narrowing it down

to an online press release.

It was critical that Alistair experienced the different areas of marketing and he

grasped quickly the importance of research (which is fundamental in my book). In

order to correctly and effectively market the press release, Alistair engaged with the

end consumer to understand their habits. This resulted in a much more effective

campaign.

I was highly impressed with Alistair’s attitude to work. He worked remotely which

required a great degree of discipline and organisation to complete his work. Although

this was a non-paid placement, he didn’t let it show!

I believe that Alistair would fit in most effectively in a creative environment where

his contribution is appreciated and he is encouraged to be fully involved with the

team. Although his copy skills require a little work and he needs a little more

confidence in himself, I believe Alistair is set for a career in marketing!

Keep up the good work and I look forward to hearing about your continued

development.
