Economics Journeys in Alaska May 2015, Parent Handout

Introduction I am honored and excited to take your Roanoke College student to Alaska where they will learn and write about the

economy and see beautiful sites. This document outlines our trip and the many ways that you can follow us on our

journey.

Trip Itinerary Below is an outline of our trip. Once we return to Charlotte on the 17th your student is free to return home.

*We will fly out of and into Douglas Airport, Charlotte, NC. Students will need to arrange their own transportation

to and from this airport. Please arrange for them to arrive sometime May 4th. I have airport hotel rooms reserved for

all students. Shuttle service is available from the airport to/from the hotel and cars can be left at the hotel while we

are away.
