eConsent Quick Reference Can be done as soon as an email address is obtained Must be accepted prior to using eSigning timeline (Presumed Receipt date for LE) If co-borrowers, both borrowers must accept If customers have previously created an account, they can use the Forgot Password function if needed. o An email with a temporary password will be sent o Temporary password is only good for 30 minutes If customers lock the account (due to multiple failed attempts) or have issues with pop-up blockers, or other technical issues, submit a ticket through the Support Portal, and let the customer know that a technical support specialist from CrossCountry Mortgage will be contacting them. eConsent Quick Reference

Can be done as soon as an email address is obtained

Must be accepted prior to using eSigning timeline (Presumed Receipt date for LE)

If co-borrowers, both borrowers must accept

Encompass Step by Step: Using Alert (appears once Application Date is generated)

1. Double click on eSign Consent Not Yet Received Alert 2. Click Request eConsent 3. If joint borrowers, click both borrower names 4. Enable Notify Additional Users and Notify me when borrower does not access by MM/DDYYY (optional) 5. Click Send

From Loan (to use prior to Alert appearing) 1. Click on eFolder 2. Click on eConsent 3. If joint borrowers, click both borrower names 4. Enable Notify Additional Users and Notify me when borrower does not access by MM/DDYYY (optional) 5. Click Send

Customer Step by Step: 1. Receive Electronic Signature Consent for Loan Documents email from LO 2. Use “Click here to visit the website” link 3. On Create New Account Screen:

a. Enter address number (or TBD if no subject property address was ever used in Encompass) b. Enter First Name c. Enter Last Name d. Create New Password (minimum length is 6 characters, maximum length is 20) e. Re-enter New Password f. Click Create New Account button

4. Check email inbox for WebCenter Account Activation Request email from loan officer at [email protected] 5. Use “Click here to activate this account” link 6. Enter password just set up in Create New Account screen 7. Click Activate New Account button 8. Under Loan Detail, click “Electronic Signature Consent for Loan Documents” link 9. Click on name link (for co-borrowers, each borrower will have a separate link) 10. Click the View Button 11. Read through the agreement, scroll down to bottom of screen 12. Click I agree button to send consent 13. Either click Done button, or continue and repeat for 2nd borrower consent if applicable
