reach up to 115 degrees F during daytime and 32 degrees F at night

Extreme temperature makes it difficult for life forms to survive in deserts.

Members of the desert animal list are Gila monster, Chuckawallas, desert tortoise, rattlesnakes, hawks, ostriches, bobcat, kangaroo rats, mountain lions, etc.
