Grooming and Appearance Standards Revised 1/2010 The purpose of this Operational Policy is to clarify the proper grooming and dress code standards for all Staff Pro employees. Complete agreement to the following guidelines (front & back of this paper) is a pre-requisite for employment. The appearance of each Team Member adds to the overall presentation and impression at each venue. You will be required to adhere to Staff Pro’s Grooming and Appearance Standards and may be requested to make changes in your personal grooming and appearance (hairstyle, makeup, and nails) in order to conform with these standards and to maintain a crisp, professional, and polished appearance. UNIFORMS- Uniforms must be clean, neat, and ironed at all times. It is your responsibility to make sure that your uniform, and your overall appearance, is in compliance with this policy. Should you have any questions or need clarification, please contact your scheduling manager or the HR Department. The only pins or decorations that can be worn on uniforms are Staff Pro issued nametags, pins, or badges issued by Staff Pro. Staff Pro will issue a uniform at each event. The uniform is the property of Staff Pro and is not to be abused or worn except under the scope of employment. It is the employee’s responsibility to return issued uniforms at the end of the event. Employees must return all Staff Pro property immediately upon request or termination of employment. Where permitted by applicable laws, Staff Pro may withhold from the employee’s check or final paycheck the cost of any items that are not returned when required. PANTS: Must be Dark Solid Khaki color. No ankle length (no Capri’s or shorts) All pants must be a professional fit (meaning nothing tight fitting/clingy or too baggy). Additionally, all pants must be made with the same fabric or fabric similar to that of “Dockers” brands to ensure consistency with all employee uniforms. In other words, the pants should be able to be starched if necessary and this would eliminate pants that are leggings, stretchy materials, or linen. These are NOT uniform and not permitted. HAIR COLORING: Staff Pro will not permit unnatural dyeing, bleaching, or tinting of hair. Complimentary highlighting is acceptable. The following colors are not acceptable in hair: pink, blue, bright red, green, purple, yellow, orange, teal, magenta, etc. TATTOOS: Visible tattoos are unacceptable and must be covered at all times. No tattoos on neck, face or hands. A visible tattoo is one that is not covered by the uniform. SHOES: Employees in uniform, unless otherwise instructed, are required to wear plain closed heel and closed toe ALL black shoes with ALL black shoelaces, slip resistant soles recommended. Plain ALL black socks are also required. When wearing the “Coat and Tie” or “Sweater and Tie” uniform, employees are required to wear a professional looking work shoe (i.e. something that can be shined /polished) Please make sure all shoes worn while working are slip resistant, closed toe/closed heel, flat (meaning no high heels), and are either professional looking work shoes, or appropriate walking shoes. Sandals, Steel toed, Crocs, Uggs, or other non-professional looking work shoes are strictly prohibited. Note: Should you elect to wear a solid black tennis shoe, it is to be professional in appearance and consideration should be paid to ensure that the shoe does not “dress down” or take away from the professional look of the “Coat and Tie” or “Sweater and Tie” uniform. Shoes that do not look professional with either uniform will not be permitted.

HATS & FANNY PACKS: Only Staff Pro issued hats may be worn with your uniform. Fanny Packs are not allowed unless provided as part of your uniform for positions such as a parking attendant to secure money and tickets.

MEDICAL OR COSMETIC EXCEPTIONS: Exceptions will be made for wigs, hair containment, and shoes if for medical or cosmetic purposes.

CELL PHONES/PAGERS: These are not permitted to be used while on duty. Cell phones and pagers must be left off while on post. Camera phones are strictly prohibited. HAIR: A neat, natural haircut and a clean shave are essential. The hair is to be neatly cut and tapered so that it does not extend beyond or cover any part of the ear. For MaleTeam Members - putting your hair behind the ear is not acceptable nor can the hair stick out over the shirt collar. For Female Team Members - Hair must be neatly combed and arranged in an attractive, easy to maintain style. If hair is teased, it should be kept to a minimum and should be for body and shape only. Those women who prefer long hair should take special care to keep it neat and well styled. Hair below shoulder length must be combed away from the face so that it will not fall forward or cover the face while performing normal job duties. Cornrows, mohawks, “twisty”, and high-spikes are not permitted. Well maintained dreadlocks are permitted for women.

HAIR CONFINEMENT AND ACCESSORIES: The following accessories are acceptable: a plain barrette, rubber band, comb, or headband without ornamentation of any kind, including bows. Nothing other then the above the mentioned hair accessories are allowed to be worn in the hair and this includes beads, bells, shells, etc. SIDEBURNS: Should be neatly trimmed and may be permitted to extend to the ear hole, following their natural contour. Flares or muttonchops are not permitted.

MUSTACHES: These are permitted if they are maintained in a neatly trimmed manner and do not extend below the corner of the mouth.

BEARDS/GOATEE’S: These must be neatly established and maintained. Beards and/or goatee’s are acceptable. However, the Honda Center does not allow beards.

SHAVE: A clean shaved face is essential for those who do not have a neatly established and maintained beard and/or goatee.

Nail length should be short, never extending past fingertip. Nail care for women - Fingernail tips should not extend one half inch beyond the fingertip (Not only for appearance, but also for safety reasons). Polish is to be a solid color. No blue, black, orange, purple, or green polish colors. No designs, other then French manicures, are allowed on fingernails. Nail jewelry is not permitted.

AFTERSHAVE, COLOGNE, PERFUME & DEODORANT: Due to close contact with guests and fellow team members, the use of a deodorant or antiperspirant is required. The use of heavy cologne and perfume should be avoided. JEWELRY: Staff Pro strongly discourages wearing jewelry at events. However, wedding bands and wristwatches are permitted. Only one ring per hand, which may be worn on any finger, is allowed. Female team members may elect to wear a single, matching set of stud style earrings. Hoop or other styles are not permitted. NO EAR OR NOSE PLUGS, TONGUE RINGS, FACIAL PIERCINGS, NECKLACES, BRACELETS, ANKLETS, OR DENTAL JEWELRY OF ANY KIND ARE PERMITTED. Band-Aids used to cover piercings are not acceptable.

Staff Pro understands that style and professionalism is subjective; therefore, Staff Pro reserves the right to council all team members on what is and what is not acceptable in regards to grooming and appearance. Those team members who are not in compliance with our grooming and appearance standards may face disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Please sign if you have read, understand, and are willing to adhere to the above

standards throughout your employment with Staff Pro. Sign Date

Each fundraising group member is responsible for NON-SECURITY, guest service positions only. Every-thing is strictly hands off. There are no exceptions to this rule and under no circumstances are you permitted to say or act like you are a security guard. You are there to assist and direct guests and must be able and willing to perform basic guest service duties (ticket taking, ushering, credential checking, door watching, greeter, etc).

Your role at the events

Staff Pro requires ALL participants to complete a background check form and have it come back “clear” be-fore they will be permitted to participate in our program to ensure our clients and guests receive consistent, world-class service when visiting a venue or arena that Staff Pro services.

Completing Background checks

Your group’s fundraising coordinator will schedule on behalf of the group and should always be in contact with your Staff Pro representative regarding upcoming events. There is a minimum of five (5) people per group required to sign up for an event. Remember to consider your personal, work and school schedules be-fore signing up for an event as you are

If a group cancels spots after signing a Fundraising Agreement or does not show up to the scheduled shift, the group will be placed on a 6 month/6event probationary period during which certain scheduling restrictions will apply.

What happens if all or part of your group cancels or “no shows”?

If a group does not fulfill ALL Fundraising Agreement obligations, then the group will be placed on a 6 month/6 event probationary period during which any infractions will result in termination of fundraising op-portunities with Staff Pro. Staff Pro reserves the right to terminate any fundraising relationship at any time.

Probation and termination of Staff Pro fundraising opportunities

Uniforms and G&A are very strictly enforced. If any part of your uniform/appearance does not comply with Staff Pro standards you may not be permitted to participate. You will need to provide all uniform pieces for yourself. Staff Pro will provide Staff Pro shirts, jackets and ties upon arrival and must be returned immedi-ately upon completion of event. Uniform/G&A infractions may result in probationary period or termination of opportunities with Staff Pro.

Uniforms/Grooming and Appearance

You are participating professionally , not as a fan. It is required to have a professional look and attitude at all times. Be approachable, friendly and helpful. Everything you say and do reflects not only on Staff Pro but also our clients, the venue and the event staff. Most importantly, it reflects on your organiza-tion’s name and everyone else who represents the group. Positive body language, facial expressions and tone of voice are all an essential parts of professionalism that should be practiced throughout your entire shift. If you are acting unprofessionally you may be asked to sign out and will not receive pay for the rest of your shift. Based on the severity, you may not be permitted to participate at future Staff Pro fundrais-ing opportunities.

Professionalism

Shift length will vary from event to event. We try to anticipate shift lengths ahead of time but every-thing depends on the progress and needs of the event, especially with concerts. If an artist starts their show late, then we need to accommodate. You should come prepared and be available to stay until the end of the event. No 1/2 or partial shifts are permitted.

Shift Length

Details such as uniform, parking, shift start/end hours, availability of spots, etc. are subject to change at any time up to and including the day of the event. Please be flexible and communicate with group mem-bers and Staff Pro representative on the day(s) before the event to check and plan for any changes.

FUNDRAISING AGREEMENT

This agreement confirms that:

Group Name: ___________________________________________________________________________________

Has committed to provide:

Further, you are also confirming that the total amount of individuals confirmed will arrive on-time and check in and park at the following location(s):

________________________________________________________________________________________________

You have also committed to having all of these individuals in the correct uniform. (Uniform consists of: Plain white t-shirt, a plain black belt, dark colored khaki pants {no cargo pants or corduroys}, solid black socks and solid black shoes, a valid form of ID, a pen, a piece of paper and a small flashlight. No large mag lights or flashlights larger than a 2’C’ battery).

Each person is also to comply with our grooming and appearance standards, which clearly states that no men or women are to wear any jewelry, and cannot have any visible tattoos. Men cannot have long hair or braids. Facial hair needs to be neatly groomed and trimmed. Everyone can wear one ring on each hand and a watch, but NO other jewelry.

Please note that if your group provides less than the confirmed amount of people, shows up late, shows up in the incorrect uniform, or fails to perform his or her designated duties for the event, Staff Pro may choose to discontinue the fundraising relationship with your group. Since we have many people depending upon us to fulfill our contractual obligations we do not have “wiggle room” and cannot make exceptions for groups failing to meet our requirements.

We are a professional company running a successful business. It is extremely important to us that we live up to our clients expectations. So, if any individual in your group is late, dressed in the incorrect uniform, does not fit within out grooming and appearance standards, has a poor attitude, or showed up without previously participating in our orientation, Staff Pro may not allow that individual to fundraise at that particular event. We will politely send him or her home.

Staff Pro Inc. cannot confirm that your group will be working in any designated spot or location and we cannot guarantee a time that the event will end or each shift will be over. Please do not schedule people to come to an event if they have to leave at a certain time. Again, we cannot guarantee that we can let an individual off at a designated time.

Also, please note that we have hands to ourselves policy that you MUST adhere to. You and your group have been trained in that concept and understand that no one, at any time, is to place his or her hands on another individual. By signing this agreement you are stating that everyone has been trained and understands that if they touch someone, they will be personally held responsible.

You are not permitted to use Staff Pro’s logo, venues, clients, or events as advertisements. Do not place any advertisements in print or on-line using any of the above mentioned information.

You also agree to only send individuals from your group that have been properly trained by a Staff Pro representative, have signed our training acknowledgement form, and have a valid background check on file with Staff Pro.

Please know that Staff Pro Inc. is looking forward to working with your group. We entrust that the above mentioned items will not be an issue for your organization and we look forward to building a long-term relationship.

Please sign and fax this back to _______________________ at ________________________ within 24 hours. If we do not receive the fax back within 24 hours we will not hold your requested spots.

Thank you. We all look forward to seeing you at the event. X_________________________________ _____________________________ (Print Name) (Group Name) X_________________________________ _____________________________ (Signature) (Date)
