CODE 2 LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING PRESENTS: CRIMINAL INTERDICTION & RURAL PATROL TACTICS Course Overview This HANDS-ON course, developed for both rookie and veteran law enforcement officers working in both a rural and urban environment, will cover:

• Officer safety during traffic stops;

• Conducting safe, legal, ethical, and professional traffic stops and consensual encounters;

• Target vehicle identification;

• Roadside interview techniques and detecting deception;

• Professional, minimally intrusive, safe, and bulletproof way to search a vehicle;

• Concealment and hidden compartments;

• Commercial motor vehicle (CMV) encounters;

• K-9 team usage; and,

• Courtroom Testimony
