FALL SEMESTER 2010My Last days before Student Teaching in Spring 2010

I thought I knew it all…

Everything Except…

Thank Goodness for Dr. Jacqui Cyrus and ED-271 Applications of Technology in Fall 2010….

AND SO BEGINS MY JOURNEY INTO ED-TECH EXCELLENCE…

First, I moodle’d some ideas on a Fox I found cool,Even EyeJot’ed a video email message on the first day of school.

Then, I google’d some appsTo collaborate with my peers,Group 5 was our name, oh dear!!

So out came some ideas and no place to store it,So we eBloggered and Diigo’ed a Delicious List until we couldn’t ignore it.

Next, we wanted to present our ideas but with powerpoint restraint,So iMovie’d, Spiced and Prezi’d our nodes until…

We went back to Powerpoint and Slideshared our presentations because we just could’t wait!!

Then came learning of ASSURE-fire way to plan a lesson,So we told a Digital Story of how we planned to teach that session.

We even made a Rubric to Assess an Online Education Game,And Presented to class to show how it was definitely not Lame.

And how we reflected…On the Microsoft School of the Future and Assistive Tech Themes,To understand how Educational Technology Applies to Enabling Dreams.

We then learned of the Darkside that technology can bring,That evil exists with constant cell phone rings.

I am satisfied with what I have learned and can say I am Educational Technology Richer…

now if I could just have the courage to let go being a student… and move on to becoming a Teacher!

Finally, I’m going to miss all my friends that made this class cool But most especially my crew...
