“For those involved in specifically Christian Schools .... the practice of

hospitality (..welcoming and making space for strangers ..) ...

should serve as a vital resource in the preparation of students to live

lives of human flourishing, lives that genuinely contribute to the

flourishing of everyone.

“Historically, the Church, in this country and elsewhere, has invested heavily in education as an aspect of the difference that God's action seeks to bring about. .”

Archbishop of CanterburyKeynote Address at Church of England Academy Family Launch Conference, Lambeth Palace , Wednesday 21 October 2009

“Christians continue to be committed

to education, therefore, as a matter of doing justice to humanity, seeking its liberation and self-awareness.”

'I love every second of it. You have to believe in young people. Don't expect failure.'

Entertainer, educator, evil overlord, legend - just some of the ways the students describe him. Mr Drew is the teacher you never forget.

He's a tough disciplinarian - in charge of enforcing school rules -but also has a deep understanding of, and sympathy for, the troubles that come with being a teenager.

How can the integration of the Bible in your professional life impact your approach to the children/students?
