Eden Springs, a leading European provider of drinking solutions for the workplace,

offers a broad range of bottle-fed water coolers, plumbed-in water coolers and

Established in 1997, Eden launched its first bottle water cooler

(BWC) operation in Poland before entering the Swiss market in

1999, which then became the base for the company’s European

headquarters. New markets followed in Spain, France, the UK and

a number of other European countries to bring today’s total to 18.

In 2008 Eden launched in point-of-use (POU) plumbed-in water

filter systems, which along with a strategy of organic growth and

acquisitions of various sizes, helped Eden to become the leading

water cooler brand in Europe.

In 2010, Eden added office coffee solutions (OCS) to its portfolio, providing employers

with a «one-stop» shop for all their water and coffee needs.

In 2012, Eden, renamed «The Water and Coffee Company», expanded its offer with the

launch of its own private-label coffee brand, Edenissimo.

In 2014, Eden acquired Nestlé Waters Direct businesses in Portugal, Germany,

Netherlands and Russia, and in Poland in 2015. Eden has demonstrated on-going, strong

financial performance on both the top and bottom line.

Going forward, Eden’s strategy for continued growth entails investments into innovation,

sales and marketing, service excellence, as well as via selective acquisitions of water and

coffee companies.

Having grown its installed customer base to over 800,000+ in the past few years,

Environmental sustainability has always been a key

focus for Eden Springs. The company has been

working with The CarbonNeutral Company since

2007 to minimize its environmental impact and to

date, has offset its carbon emissions across the majority

of its European markets including the UK, France,

Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway,

Germany and the Netherlands. Eden has offset over

127,000 tons of CO2 since 2010 - the equivalent of

nearly 130,000 round-trip economy flights from London

to New York.

Eden has put in place a number of initiatives to further support its environmental efforts.

These measures include its ‘save a cup’ campaign to promote recycling across its office-

based customers, the use of hand-held devices, providing electronic billing to reduce

paper use and the development of low-energy use coolers and machines. Eden has also

introduced ‘long life’ water cooler bottles which can be cleaned and used up to 50 times

before being recycled. This means one Eden bottle can deliver 950 liters of water in its

lifetime.

Operating across mass markets makes Eden very aware of its true environmental

EDEN AND THE COMMUNITY

Eden Springs supports organizations who share a common vision: To make a

measurable difference to individuals’ and communities’ health and well-being.

Providing permanent access to clean water and the building of

sanitary installations in the Mikocheni Day care center in Maasai

land, about 35 km south of the village of Moshi. This support

provided permanent access to water supply, and the construction

of the sanitary facility was a key enabler for the Day Care Center to

receive official status from the District. It now cares for 120 young

Maasai children.

Providing hundreds of text books, first aid supplies and other

needed educational materials to over 3000 secondary students

in 7 schools in the Kitandu community of Uru district. The support,

via the Community Secondary Education Support (COSES) program,

has helped to raise students’ learning and test scores in a number of

subjects including science and math.
