DEDICATION To
PRESIDENT EUGENE B. CHAFFEE President of Boise Junior Col lege
BOISE, IDAHO
This annual is respectfully dedicated:
Because his spirit of good fellowship, his innate sincerity, and his sense of a square deal for all provides the foundation upon which the college is built ;
Because he is a dependable friend and advisor of students and faculty alike, we are taking this opportunity of expressing our sincerest appreciation.
PRESIDENT EUGENE B. CHAFFEE
FOREWORD
At this the end of the fifth year of its existence, Boise Junior College presents the
third volume of "Les Bois " The pioneer
theme which is developed in the illustrations
represents truly the spirit of our youthful
college which, like the relatively recent pio
neers of this section, is struggling valiantly
against difficult odds toward a position of
increased security with a resultant possibility
of enlarged development. To this tenacious
pioneer spirit we dedicate volume three of "Les Bois."

Board, consisting of eight members, including student body officers and two repre
sentatives, a boy and a girl, elected from each class. It is the duty of the Executive
Board to budget the student body fees; to see that the money is handled so that each
student benefits from his fee; to appoint the editors of the school annual, and the
school paper, and to sponsor entertainment for the students. Mr. Emerson is the faculty advisor of the Board.

Tribunal The Tribunal is elected in the spring of each year for the succeeding season. Em
powered by the constitution of the associated student body, this body acts as a judicial
authority in all non-academic student activities. Any infractions by members of the
student body may be brought before the Tribunal for consideration. It is their privil
ege to impose disciplinary measures when deemed expedient. Max Eiden, faculty ad
visor, has been a capable leader and counselor.
The constitution provides that the three members be elected from the upper class
and it is customary for one of these to be a woman. The association also includes the
president of the college and a faculty member selected by the group.
