Editing Software Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign & Adobe Premiere
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop CS6 is an ideal software when editing photos such as removing the background or changing the colours or contrast of it. I will be using this when editing photos for the creation of my magazine advert and digipak. I have had previous experience with this software during my AS coursework. This means that I will not be wasting time to Figure out what tools are useful for me. Photoshop will allow me to edit the images if they haven’t turned out the way I wanted them to. It can allow me to give it the professional look and the high quality that is needed for me to obtain the highest amount of marks.
Adobe InDesign Adobe InDesign is an astonishing software to create posters or magazines. You could say it is a mixture of Microsoft Publisher and Adobe Photoshop. I will be using this software to create the magazine advert and digipak. I used this software when creating my magazine last year for my AS Coursework which makes it easier to navigate through the tools. It will also allow me to investigate new tools in order to create a more professional looking Final product. Adobe InDesign allows you to create exactly what you want; for example there is a layout for the digipak and it will create it exactly how you want it to be.
Adobe Premiere
Adobe Premiere is a software to edit videos. It is much more complex than Windows Movie Maker. It allows you to edit out the tiniest details in videos. I will be using this software to create my music video. I used this once during GCSE ICT. I was not completely conFident with it then and don’t think I am now either. I may need to practice on it by watching tutorials and gain skills in order to put a music video together. Cutting out long clips to the useful parts seems like a tedious task however due to efFicient planning I can use my shot list and storyboard to know exactly which shot goes where.
