Richie ClutterbuckRichie Clutterbuck is the current Club President has held 40 years on the Board. He has already served 3 terms as President; Richie Clutterbuck has helped develop the Club greatly.

He is the most decorated bowler in the Clubs history and holds 13 Club Championships, a feat that may never be emulated. He has won every Club district and zone event on many occasions and has represented at State level. His Club honours are listed as follows:

After performing to an audience of 6 billion people at the closing of the Sydney Olympics in 2000, Phil has toured Asia, Europe and the U.S. several times with rave reviews.

Phil has now emerged from his self-imposed semi-retirement of recent years and has had huge success touring nationally with the Brothers in Arms tour 2010 (Phil playing the music of Dire Straits Mark Knopfler) and the Emmanuel Brothers 50th Anniversary Tour 2010/2011 with brother Tommy, all shows on both tours being sold out. Phil is touring the U.S. in May 2011 with 25 dates from the deep south of Nashville up to the bright lights of New York City and Chicago.

Drawing from his bestselling CDs Terra Firma, Kakadu Sunrise and in the Shadows of the Beatles, Phil has combined these with his love of the music of the Shadows and Dire Straits and put together an event that audiences will remember for a long time.

That is how I would describe the past few months. Not only are we progressing with our event room renovations with the Auditorium almost being completed and the Tops function room well on the way, but oh what great events we have had.

One of the larger styles of events that we hold here during the year are the local high school formals. At the beginning of September, we hosted the PLC year 12 formal and our team absolutely loved creating the Winter Wonderland theme for the girls.

The organisers had a specific idea on their colours and ideas. We used tall vases filled with clear waterbeads

and with stunning white ostrich feathers coming out at the top with a small blue light to give extra effect. White satin tieback chair covers with a light blue organza sash brought some glamour and class to the set up.

This showcased our new renovation with crisp white walls and a neutral carpet, and utilising our effect lighting to create a light blue shimmer through our draping and chandelier, the completed set up looked amazing.
