From Principal’s Desk
It is quotidian that newsletters serve a variety of purposes including
disseminating trustworthy, timely and specialized information, motivating
morale, promoting unity along with a due recognition to the talent within
the institution.
With that thought in mind, I would like to thank all the students and
teachers who have put in a colossal amount of effort for realizing the
completion of this endeavor on behalf of our institution.
In this pursuit of excellence, I also appreciate our parent fraternity for
supporting the school in every aspect. I also laud the relentless efforts of
our teachers for giving their best in bringing out the best in each child. But
I would exhort the students to be always modest, humble and disciplined,
while being ready to expand the horizons of their knowledge and skills by
dreaming and working diligently.
In my ending note, I leave you with this great quotation by Mahatma
Gandhi:
“Whatever you do will be insignificant, but it is significant that you do it.”
With warm and sincere regards,
Dinesh Kumar

WONDERS OF THE WORLD Our world is dotted with incredible and inspiring creations some that showcase nature’s artistry and some impressive creativity.
The Victoria falls: The 1708 metres wide Victoria falls is the world's widest single curtain of falling water. It is located on the border between Zambia and
Zimbabwe.
The Grand Canyon: One of the world's largest Canyons, the Grand Canyon is 446 kilometres long and is located in the state of Arizona USA. Known for its
impressive and overwhelming size, it was formed as the fast flowing Colorado river cut through the Colorado plateau over millions of years.

MOM Mom, Mama, Mother For us, who always bother. Mom the first word a child speaks,
Mom the world encourages me, Mom who helps me, Mom who cares for me. Mom, you are the best for us.
Mom, you always support us. Mom, you are a daughter, wife And a man's life.
Mom you make me feel Secure, loved and warm Blissful in your love, Safe from any Storm.
I LOVE YOU MAA

CHILDREN OF GOD
Your children are not your children, They are the sons and daughters of Life longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you, And though they are with you, But not their thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts. You may house for their bodies,
But not for their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, Which you cannot visit, Not even in your dream. You may strive to be like them, But seek not to make them like you……
JAYA MARDI, VIII/B
RAY OF SUNLIGHT
I came long back and from The clouds I peep. To go in the earth deep. My face would hold the race Among my lovers
Whom I do cover. I peep through the window cloud, And invite them all aloud.
“Come on!” I say, “Its no more dark Everything’s now up to the mark”. Now nobody should fight For the right, Let’s start anew
All, not few.

FRIENDSHIP
Life is like a garden, and
Friendship is like a flower….
That blooms and grows in beauty,
With the sunshine and the showers.
Life brings tears, smiles and memories.
The tears dry, the smiles fade,
But the memories last forever.
We are friends FORVER.

A FATHER JUST LIKE YOU
I just want to let you know,
You mean the world to me.
Only a heart as dear as yours,
Would give so unselfishly.
The many things you’ve done,
Are the times that you were there.
Help me know deep down inside,
How much you really care.
Even though I might not say
I appreciate all you do
Richly blessed is how I feel
Having a Father just like you.

Most people give up,
When they are very close
To the dreams and ambitions,
That they earlier chose.
If only they had tried,
A couple of more times again.
If only they had pushed harder,
And ignored the pain,
They would have won.
They would have got success.
But since they early gave on,
Right now they are nothing but a mess.
The lesson to learn is simple,
Never give up the fight,
Whatever happens in life,
Push forward with all your might.

FINAL GOODBYE
A regular place for all
Full of hope and goal,
Where each one’s inherent foresight,
Make their uncertain future bright.
Bunch of students at their places,
Isolated between the walls of classes,
Interest of learning is rare,
With depression due to peers.
Level of stress is high up,
Which is very difficult to cope with!
Be fooled by feelings,
And strained by laughter
But who’d think all is fun.
Remembering all that we had done.
Now it’s time for bidding adieu
Wondering whether we will meet anew
Tears drizzled down the cheeks.
Jitters of separation down the spines
But there is nothing to say at all,
Only the memories that we made
Which would never fade.

ANOTHER DAY TO COME
Don’t you worry
What’s happening with you today.
Another day is coming
It will be good, believe that.
Your hard work will take you far;
If you have faith on yourself
You can win any war.
Another day to come.
I know you’ll shine like sun.
Don’t give up your hope
There’s always some scope.
Just think for a while
It’s not a hard to travel a mile,
If you do your work in time,
In future you’ll carry a smile.
Another day to come
You’ll shine like sun
I know it’s hard but you can do it.
Just do it before the time’s gone!

IMPORTANCE OF DRESS CODE IN SCHOOL
A similar group engaged in the same line of work should wear the same type of clothes i.e. Uniform. The concept of uniform is the only most visible element of any school regardless of caste, colour and creed.
Uniform is symbol of discipline, decency, belongingness and togetherness. Uniform is a unique
idea for school because it helps students not to divert their attention for fashionable garments while at school.
If uniforms were non-existent, students might be enamored by enchantingly expensive clothes. Thus their attention will naturally be affected and as a result their school work will suffer.
Uniform is the only means to avoid fashion parade in the schools. When students wear clothes
of their choice on their birthday, they try to wear the most attractive garments in order to catch the attention of one and all. So uniform is the only way to avoid all such problems. Teen-aged students will not be wasting their time on making decision of variety clothes to school.

SMILE
Smile is an emotion, Which reflects our attitude.
Smile is a mirror, Which shows our feelings. Smile is a path,
Which take us to the door of happiness. Smile is our courage, Which helps to reach our goal.
Smile is our joy, Which we enjoy at every moment of our life. Smile is a passion,
Which knits creative ideas for our future.
Smile is a mask Which hides our unhappiness from others.
Smile is a power Which hides our weakness. Smile is a charm
Which shine like a star. Smile is sword Which has the strength to defeat our enemy.
*And after all smile is what it is….. Because it depends on our personality.*

LOVE
Love is light
That makes life bright.
Once fallen, love can’t one ignore,
But it makes everything sore.
Love is a strong bond
That can’t be broken with a wand.
Love brings two people closer,
Which always gives pleasure.
Love is unbiased, therefore for some,
It brings sorrow and for some,
It brings happier moments.
Love is blind but tough to find.

DESTINY
Watch your thoughts,
For they become words.
Watch your words,
For they become actions.
Watch your actions,
For they become habits.
Watch your habits,
For they become character.
Watch your character,
For it becomes your destiny.

YOU ARE ALWAYS ON ME You are always on me from the very moment
When you enter inside
The fair, middle-aged, spectacle wearing
Class teacher always wants you
To be on me, and if she finds you
To be on me, then gone is her fairness!
Crimson her skin would turn, arrows her eyes would dart.
When teachers come and go
You leave and return to me.
When you feel bored, your creative ideas
Come down on me, pinching me and painful.
Yes I am made of planks of wood
And many iron rods.
You jump on me, stand on me and
Some times your compass even hurts me
But I’m happy and have no complaint
Because you are on me.
Whenever you leave me for holidays
I feel lonely and lost.
I feel why on earth am I here for?
But don’t worry, I always comfort myself
Muttering you’ll return tomorrow.
Sometimes you lie on me with the
Stress and strain of life,
Sometimes your tears wet me
Because you are always special.

MY LAST DAY AT SCHOOL
It is said that student life is the golden period of one’s life because it is the most
significant part of human life. It is the period of pure joy and happiness as the mind of a student is free from cares and worries of a grown-up person. In this period, the
character of a man is formed and so it is called the formative period of human life.
The last day of school is almost universally seen as a day of celebration and joy.
But it is also a time of sorrow and regret. This is the day we leave the footprints of our
school life. The routine and time table that had defined us for almost 13 years from Nursery ends on this day. Till now our life was made of one filled with time demarcation.
7th February 2017 was the last day of my school life. It was a lovely day and all my
friends had come to the school for our Computer Science practical exam. It was really a
very sad day for me and my friends because we were leaving the school forever and about to take a big U-Turn in our life. None of us knew when we will all be assembling
together again but there were plenty of solemn promises of meeting every year. I would
never forget the last day of my school.

MEMORIES
Nobody calls me sleepy head now
Nobody calls me teddy bear now
Gone are the days when we hugged tight
And promised to be there, always in sight.
Sticking around you was the best thing I
could ever do
Now I have nothing, except the memories
of me and you.
Now that you’re gone, it is hard to survive.
To retain a smile, my memories I revive
Missing you is all I have got to do
Believe me, I loved you true.

ROTE – LEARNING
In today’s world, studies have become a rat-race for students. Every student wants to
score very high marks in the examination. The easiest way for a child is to learn things
by – heart. Most of us memorise blindly, without even caring or knowing what we are
memorising.
The result is that if you forget a few words, you fail to write anything sensible due to
panic. Moreover, a child forgets everything he had committed to his memory forcefully,
in a few days after exams.
Rote learning therefore is useless and even harmful. It discourages original thinking and
application. It blocks the essential talents hidden in the kids when children begin to
cram.
Albert Einstein was branded a slow-learner in the school as he refused to learn by heart.
Young Einstein believed that learning mere facts was useless and that every student
should learn ideas.
It is time for teachers to encourage students to learn through understanding. Teachers
should frame questions in such a way as to discourage rote-learning. Questions asked
should force the students to apply their mind in answering those questions. Many
students who score high marks fail to get good jobs because they had learned through
rote-learning. The world requires original thinkers and scientists. Rote-learning has no place in this fast changing world.

DAUGHTERS THE BUTTERFLIES
Varied and Varicoloured
Delicate and Diligent
Do not let your colourful wings be
Crushed or clipped,
Your dreams may feel desolated
The clouds of Illusion and apprehension
May dampen your face.
Do not let your soaring dreams be
Torn and tattered.
Your freedom may feel drenched.
The cloud of oppression and suppression
May auction your existence.
Do not let folklores and fables
Misguide you to fairyland.
You live as you believe in yourself.
The clouds of elimination may
Chain your passion
Daughters be the living legend.
Recuperate and recover
Strong and steady.
You are born with wings, not meant for
crawling.
