Edmodo is a social networking platform that takes the ideas of a social network and refines them making it appropriate for a classroom.

3Things you should knowAs the teacher, you can interact with your students, administrators, parents, and other educators. Parents may send messages to the teacher and their child. They may not interact with other members of the group. Students cannot directly interact with each other. They can only communicate with the group.Students and parents may not gain access to a particular group without being given the code to that group. The teacher will then grant or deny access. Its important to educate students and parents on the security and privacy settings on Edmodo.
