Program – 24 months:1st period - 6 mth studies and preparations2nd period - 3 mth saving up (for second year)3rd period - 3mth months investigation and study-travel period, ending at the project4th period - 6 months project period5th period - 6 months further studies and exams

1st Period – 6 months (World Studies)

Saving up money in a concentrated period.

Working, living cheapPreparing for travelling and project work

2nd Period – 3 months (GETTING IT READY)

3 months travel period, ending at the Project

Travel by bus, car, bike, foot, train, plane, hitchhike, boat, hotair ballon or ... according to the teams own plans

Make studies and investigations related to the B-Certificate in Fighting with The Poor, incl. social conditions in the countries you travel in

Live with and learn from people you meet on the way

3rd Period – 3 months On the Road

Arriving at the project. Standing shoulder to shoulder Fighting with The Poor

Working in the Trio. Making pre-schools, Garden Farms, Farmers

Clubs, fighting HIV/AIDS with TCE, teaching would-be teachers, teaching youngsters at PTG-schools, working in Child Aid.

Working at the project, improving it, expanding it and making actions with people in the community.

4th Period – 6 months Project Work

Gathering all what is learned, producing products for the Public Arena. Going on the road with it all. Publishing in the Exhibition Hall on the OWU Website

Based on school at Hornsjø/Norway

Complete the B-Certificate and finalize exam

Make further studies in global sissues and development studies

Plan future

5th Period – 6 months Bringing it to the Public

Teams of 20 students and 2 teachers, organized in two groups

Team start : 1st of March and 1st of September

The teams economy consist of:

- Institutional fee’s of 2000,- NOK/mth/student except for period 4

- OWU fee of 60 USD/month except for period 4

- Common Team economy covering all other expenses - around 80.000 NOK

NO DRUGS, NO ALCOHOL

• No Alcohol or Drugs Consumption Whilst undertaking any part of the program, including when

the program is taking place away from the school

• No use of hard drugs or alcohol

addiction for the proceeding 18 months

before going to Africa/India
