This educational resource will assist teachers to maximise learning opportunities for their students whilst visiting the Territory Wildlife Park. 1. Have the students select one of the following three animals and write a half page summary of that animal’s life cycle. ~ Echidna~ Saltwater Crocodile~ Orange Lacewing Butterfly

2. Have a class discussion about food chains and draw some examples on the board to illustrate the relationships between the living things in an ecosystem.

3. Have a class discussion to revise what you have already learnt about life cycles.

1. (a) Choose 3 animal species that live at the Wildlife Park and research their natural diet.
