Air Sentry® set the industry gold standard with our first line of con-tamination control breathers in 1997 and recently raised the bar with the introduction of GUARDIAN.Air Sentry was the first to integrate check valve technology into a desic-cant breather. Being the first to offer replacement cartridges was another significant stride in reducing replace-ment costs for customers. And we were the first to use two par-ticle filters. There is a two micron fil-ter at both ends of the breather.GUARDIAN took check valve tech-nology and cost-saving replacement measures to the next level. Now, Air Sentry raises the bar even further by introducing the GUARDIAN Shield.

The GUARDIAN Shield Wash Down Cap The cap provides a barrier for environments where equip-ment wash down happens frequently. This prevents any direct spray from opening check valves in the top cap. It’s designed for use in food processing, mining operations, pulp and paper facilities and more.

Tritan™ ConstructionGUARDIAN is the first breather ever constructed of Tritan™. This patented ma-terial is the most chemical-, temperature-, and impact-re-sistant combination casing on the market.

StackableStack cartridges to extend the life of breathers even fur-ther using the Modular Stack Ring.™ This proprietary fea-ture lengthens the service life, reducing cost and main-tenance intervals.

Isolation Check ValveGUARDIAN is first again with an iso-lation check valve, which isolates the adsorbent from exhaust air to lengthen service life of the desiccant while also protecting it from volatile and splashing fluids.

Introducing the GUARDIAN Shield.Air Sentry® introduces the GUARDIAN Shield Wash Down Cap for the most extreme condi-tions. It’s an extra protective barrier between your GUARDIANTM unit and excessive dust and moisture.The GUARDIAN Shield is designed for en-vironments where frequent wash down of equipment is required. Or for outdoor and mobile applications where wind and driving rain are factors. Covering all check valves in the top cap makes GUARDIAN well suited to prevent any high pressure spray or rain from entering.It is also ideal for extremely dusty or dirty environ-ments like mining operations or pulp and paper facili-ties. Excessive dust or sludge can settle on exposed sur-faces and po-tentially cause check valves to clog or stick.Even in the most extreme conditions, the GUARDIANTM Shield Wash Down Cap helps extend desiccant life. And it fits on Air Sentry GUARD-IAN, X and XR series breathers.

Air Sentry® Breather Adapters

Domed Flange Adapter Kits:Provides a low profile yet rugged way to mount a 1” NPT desiccant breather to a hydraulic reservoir.

Gearbox Adapter Kits:Allows breathers to be installed on any gearbox. Oil can be pumped in or out without open-ing the gearbox to atmosphere. Offline filtration, oil changes and sampling can be handled through the adapter. They are a faster, simpler and cleaner way to handle gear oils and reduce ingression.

Hydraulic Reservoir Adapter Kits:Hydraulic Reservoir Adapter Kits allow breathers to be installed on any hydraulic fluid tank or reser-voir. The patent-pending alumi-num adapters have quick con-nects in two sizes for pumping oil in and out,allowing the system to remain closed at all times, dra-matically reducing contamina-tion while improving oil-handling safety. Off-line filtration can also be connected through the adapt-er without ever disrupting the breather or opening the tank.

Drum Adapter Kits:Drum Adapter Kits allow breath-ers to be installed on any stor-age tank or drum; there’s never been a cleaner, more effective way to store, filter and pump lu-bricants from a drum. Unique design ensures all fluid handling is managed through one adapt-er. Anodized aluminum adapters have quick connects for pumping oil in and out of drum. Single-port access to the oil reduces contam-ination as drum remains closed. Off-line filtration units easily con-nect to adapter without ever dis-rupting the performance of the breather.
