Purpose The purpose of this paper is to identify entrepreneurial ecosystem in developing spinoff within Study Pro-gram by using a more holistic view of Entrepreneurial University (EU) framework. Design/methodology/approachThe research paradigm of this study is post positivist which starts from problem setting and formulating appropriatequestions The current study used a qualitative approach in the expectation of arriving at more robust explanations ofthe phenomenon. Findings The research reported here proposes a guideline for developing University Spinoff as thecontinuous stage from previous work. The main findings are the the institutions need to manage three key stakeholders,namely students, staff, and the institution itself in order to achieve spinoff. All activities under Study Program shouldbe arranged in an integrated manner among curriculum, institutional supports, internal actors, and external actors. Re-search limitations/implications One limitation of the study was the single case which need to be further explore at otherhigher education institutions. Practical implications The findings is expected giving guidelines to academics and prac-tices in developing spinoff. Originality/value Despite numerous studies conducted to identify EU pratices, the resultsare mostly fragmented and remain at an embryonic stage. The development of biobased polymers is indispensable for the establishment of a sustainable low-carbon society.A number of aliphatic biobased polymers such as polyesters; poly(lactic acid) [1], poly(hydroxyalkanote)s [2], andpoly(butylenes succinate) [3], and polyamides (polyamide 11 and polyamide 66) have been developed, but their lowglass transition temperature, Tg, and only a small percentage of their substitutes limited their use for various applica-tions as super engineering plastic. We have developed so far biobased PIs from bioavailable aromatic diamines, whichwere photodimers of 4-aminocinnamic acid (4ACA) derived from genetically manipulated Escherichia coli [4-6]. Thesebiobased PI films showed ultrahigh thermal resistance with the temperature at 10% of mass loss, T10, values over 425Cand no Tg values under 350 C, which is the highest value of all biobased plastics reported thus far. This advancedthermal property can be useful for electric devices such as flexible polymeric electrodes that can be annealed at hightemperature. On the application for electric devices, the electric properties such as resistivity, dielectric constant ordielectric breakdown voltage are very important. However, the electric properties for these films are not fully under-stood. In this paper, we prepared biobased PI copolymer films (ATA/CBDA) of 4,4’-diamino--truxillic acid (4ATA)and 1,2,3,4-tetracarboxycyclobutane dianhydride (CBDA) and measured the temperature dependence and electric-fielddependence of the electric resistance (volume resistivity) for these films.Index Terms: Electric Devices,Biobased Polymers,Volume Resistivity

Biological tissue, such as dermis of sea cucumbers, exhibits stimuli-responsive properties that the elasticity alters inresponse to a physical stimulus. Materials that physical property changes responding to a stimulus have been extensivelyinvestigated, particularly in the field of soft materials such as polymer gels, rubbers, or elastomers. Polymer gel contain-ing magnetic particles is a stimuli-responsive gel that viscoelastic properties can be controlled by applying magneticfields. We have fabricated magnetoelastic soft materials with various polymer matrices [1-6]. The elastic modulusof magnetic gels is enhanced by forming a chain structure of magnetic particles, similarly to magnetic fluids. Fewyears before, we have succeeded to fabricate a new class of magnetoelastic gel that demonstrates drastic and reversiblechanges in dynamic modulus without using strong magnetic fields [7,8]. At zero magnetic field, the storage modulusof the magnetic gel is low with 104 Pa although the gel contains large amount of particles as much as 0.30, resultingfrom random dispersion of the magnetic particle in the gel. The magnetic particle, under magnetic field, aligns to themagnetic lines of force and forms a chain structure contributing to high storage modulus exceeding 4 MPa. Followed tothe magnetic gel mentioned above, it was also succeeded to synthesize polyurethane elastomers showing drastic changein dynamic modulus by a factor of 277 [9]. In this paper, we present the magnetoelastic response and morphologicalproperties of carrageenan magnetic hydrogel that underwent wide modulation of dynamic modulus (500 times higherthan off-field modulus). In addition, we show new evidence that the relationship between carrageenan-concentrationdependent particle morphology and the increase in the storage modulus.Index Terms: Dynamic Modulus,Morphological Properties,Magnetic Gel
