FinishingHead: Note that cast-off sts are front of the head and that seam runs down centre underside of head. Sew CC1 side edges of front of head tog, then attach toy safety eyes on face. Sew the MC side edges of head tog, adding stuf� ng as you go. Gather cast-on sts tog at back of head. With MC and using photograph as a guide, duplicate stitch a triangle above eyes that is 3 rows deep, starting as 5 sts wide at top, then 3 sts wide, and 1 st wide at bottom point.Beak: Noting that seam runs down centre underside of beak, sew side edges tog. Add a little stuf� ng, and sew cast-on edge onto front of head.Body: Note that cast-off sts are front of body and that seam runs down centre underside of body. Sew side edges tog, adding stuf� ng as you go. Gather cast-on sts tog at back of body. Sew head onto body.Wings: Sew side edges tog, and do not stuff. Sew cast-on edge onto side of body. Feet: Fold in half and oversew cast-on edge, sew side edge tog, and sew cast-off edge onto front of body.Scarf: Weave in ends, and tie around penguin’s neck.Headband and bow: Sew cast-off and cast-on ends of headband tog. Tie a length of CC2 tightly around centre of bow to shape, and sew bow onto headband. Place on head and secure with a few stitches. Weave in all ends.
