(Rapor Değerlendirme Kriterleri) The research proposal report is original work of the student written in his/her

own words to comply with the report preparation rules. It does not contain

any un-cited work and ideas of others. The related literature has been cited

adequately, and the references to them have been cited inside the main text

properly.

The research proposal report has an introduction that contains a literature

review including patents, articles and books on the subject of study,

summarizes the subject, the methods used and the goal of the thesis briefly

and clearly.

The students presents a clear understanding of what is to be done to carry

out the final thesis work. The methods to be used, the calculations to be

carried out and the measurements to be taken have been explained in detail

and clearly.

Quality of the report is good. Included material (graphics, pictures, fonts etc.)

was chosen properly. Details were relevant to make the reader capture the

subject.


(Rapor Değerlendirme Kriterleri) There exists a budget analysis in terms of expenses and/or energy

consumption considerations. The cost analysis includes not only monetary but environmental and/or energy costs, computational costs or such, depending on the relevance to the subject of the research.

The political, ethical, social, environmental and health related constraints are discussed properly. The sustainability, reproducibility and security issues have been taken into account and have been argued scientifically. Relation to relevant standards are inspected and process is planned accordingly.

The progress up to date has been reported clearly by means of technical drawings, graphics, tables etc. They have been commented and conclusions are drawn using them. The progress within the semester was summarized and the results obtained (if any) were explained so that their relevance to achieve the goals of the thesis is made clear.

The student presents a work plan for the final thesis to be carried out next semester with a Gantt Chart and prepared work packages in which he/she explained necessary goals, inputs and outputs of the work packages.

Kriterleri (Tez Değerlendirme Kriterleri)

Thesis has been written to comply with the thesis preparation rules.

The thesis is original work of the student written in his/her own words.

It does not contain any un-cited work and ideas of others.

Abstract is present and summarizes the content properly.

An introduction section is present. It contains a literature review,

summarizes the subject, the methods used and the goal of the thesis

briefly and clearly.

In the main text, the methods used, the calculations carried out and

the measurements taken have been explained in detail and clearly.


Kriterleri (Tez Değerlendirme Kriterleri)

There exists a budget analysis in terms of expenses and/or energy consumption considerations.

The thesis contains comments on political, health, environmental and/or ethical consequence of the thesis subject. The standards are considered and their usage in the project is discussed.

The results have been reported clearly, by means of technical drawings, graphics, tables etc. They have been commented and conclusions are arrived using them.

The related literature has been cited adequately, and the references to them have been cited inside the main text properly.

There is a conclusion section in which the results and conclusions drawn from them are summarized. Further development possibilities and/or a roadmap for future studies is suggested.


Kriterleri (Sunum Değerlendirme Kriterleri)

The work done contains at least one genuine hardware and/or software

element completely designed by the student.

He/She has used his/her knowledge acquired during the education

program to complete the design.

The student has enough knowledge on the topic. He/She is aware of

engineering standards related to his/her thesis.

He/She can connect the new knowledge gained for the thesis work to

his/her previous education well.

The student can make interpretations and comment on the related topics.



The student can give satisfactory answers to the questions asked.

He/she is aware of the political, health, environmental and/or ethical

consequences of his/her design.

She/He is aware of the standards, conditions and constraints related to

his/her thesis.

The product of the project is shown to achieve the goal of the thesis (the

hardware and software components are working as proposed.)

The presentation consists of introduction, development and conclusion

sections. And these sections are presented with a proper timing.



The goal of the thesis and its connection to used

methods has been presented, clearly.

The visual material used in presentation is satisfactory

and supports the explained topics well.

Conclusions are concrete and summarize what has

been presented well.

EED 4783 Research Project dersine kayıtlı 98 ögrenci

EED 4894 Final Project dersine kayıtlı 16 öğrenci bulunmaktadır.

Öğretim üyeleri ortalama 4’er öğrenciye tez danışmalığı

yapacaktır.

Önemli Tarihler (Tez Atanması)

1. Tez önerisi: Hocaların tez önerilerini Moodle sistemine girmeleri için son tarih: 13 Ekim 2019 saat 23:55.

2. Öğrencilerin tezlere atanması: EED4783 Research Project için açılan tezlere öğrencilerin

atanması için geçerli tarih 6 Ekim-20 Ekim 2019 arası saat 23:55’dir.

Sistem, EED 4894 Final Project dersini alan öğrencilerin kayıtlarını yapmak için açıktır. EED 4894 Final Project öğrenci kayıtları 20 Ekim 2019 saat 23:55’e kadara devam edecektir.

3. Her iki ders için 23 Ekim 2019 tarihine kadar herhangi bir tez konusuna atanmamış öğrencilerin bu tarihten sonra tez konusuna ataması yapılmayacaktır. Bu öğrenciler DEVAMSIZ kabul edilip ilgili dersten BAŞARISIZ sayılacaktır.

Önemli Tarihler (Tez Teslimi) 1. Tez raporlarının danışmalara iletilmesi: Öğrencilerin tez

kontrolü için tezlerinin bir kopyasını danışmanlarına iletmesi

için son tarih 23 Aralık 2019 saat 23:55’dir.

2. Tez raporlarının sisteme yüklenmesi: Danışmanlar

tarafından kontrol edilip düzeltilen tezler (EED 4783 Research

Project ve EED 4894 Final Project) en geç 30 Aralık 2019

saat 17:00’a kadar dersin Moodle sayfasına yüklenecektir.

Tezler sisteme 01 Aralık – 30 Aralık 2019 tarihleri arasında

yüklenebilecektir.

3. Tez raporlarının jüri üyelerine iletilmesi: Öğrencilerin sınav

programını kontrol ederek, tez jürilerini öğrenmeleri ve

tezlerinin basılı birer kopyasını en geç 31 Aralık 2019 saat

12:00’a kadar jüri üyelerine iletmesi gerekmektedir.

EED 4894 Final Project Sınav Programı

İmza karşılığı Bölüm Sekreterliğine tez teslimi yapılmadan 2 - 3

gün önce danışmanlarınızın tez durumunuzu Moodle üzerinden

güncellemesi gerekmektedir. Bu şekilde, sınava girecek

öğrencilerin tam sayısı belirlenecek ve sınav programı bu sayıya

göre hazırlanacaktır.

Final sınav programıyla eş zamanlı olarak yapılacak olan ve

tarih, yer ve jüri üyeleri bilgilerini içeren Tez Savunma Sınav

Programı dönem sonunda öğrencilere duyurulacaktır.
