SHRI AMITABH MATHUR APPOINTED DIRECTOR (IS&P), BHEL

Executive Director. A Mechanical engineer from Delhi College of Engineering, MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi and an alumnus of Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, Mr. Mathur has more than 34 years of rich professional experience in having handled diverse functions in BHEL viz. Marketing, Business development, Corporate Affairs, Project Management & Execution in BHEL.

Mr. Mathur was elevated to the position of Executive Director in January 2014. in Eastern Region. He created new benchmarks in project execution. During his stint at PSER, Mr. Mathur successfully handled more than 43 project sites under various stages of implementation across the country and abroad both in power as well as industrial segments.

EEPC’S TOP EXPORT AWARD FOR THE TWENTY FIFTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR TO BHEL

For outstanding export performance, BHEL has won the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC)'s, Top Export Award for the twenty fifth year in succession. It was conferred on BHEL in the category of ‘Star Performer in 2013-14 for Project Exports - Large Enterprise'. The award, presented by the Hon'ble Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry (Independent Charge), Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, was jointly received by Shri B.Prasada Rao, CMD, BHEL and Shri Atul Sobti, Director (Power), BHEL.
