The International Conference on Electrochemical Energy Science and Technology 2016

(EEST 2016), the third annual Conference on Electrochemical Energy Science and Technology

was successfully held from August 16-22th, 2016 at Kunming University of Science and

Technology (KUST), located in beautiful Kunming, Yunnan, China. The conference was hosted

by Kunming University of Science and Technology (KUST) and International Academy of

Electrochemical Energy Science (IAOEES); co-organized by Yancheng Institute of Technology

(YCIT) and Shanghai University (SHU, College of Science).

The conference attracted over 300 leading scientists from more than 20 different

countries to hear presentations from world renowned researches in six major technology

streams including: Fuel Cell; Batteries & Supercapacitors; Electrolysis & Hydrogen;

Electrochemistry energy fundamentals; Advanced electrochemical materials (nanomaterials);

Electrochemical energy industry.

Throughout the three-day conference, the attendees were immersed in the latest of the

art electrochemical knowledge by 6 exceptional plenary talks, over 100 keynote speeches,

invited talks, and oral presentations.

EEST 2016 Activities

IAOEES 2016 Workshop “Conversation with Editors” was

successfully held at August 16th, 2016. Dr. Guangchen Xu (Deputy Editor

of Adv. Energy Mater.), Dr. Prashant V. Kamat (Editor-in-Chief of ACS

Energy Letters), Dr. Krik Schanze (Editor-in-Chief of ACS Appl. Mater.

Interface), Dr. Luke Batchelor (Senior Editor of Nature Communications),

Dr. Khalil Amine (Associate Editor of Nano Energy) gave impressive talks

on the topic “How to Publish Your Research Results on Top Journals”
