History

• Founded in 1949 by parents of children with Cerebral Palsy – hence the name United Cerebral Palsy.

• UCP now offers services to children with all types of disabilities and children without disabilities.

• UCP is committed believes in inclusion in every aspect of life.

• Volunteered through UCP’s extended day program.

• Had 4 visits to the campus.• Assisted TAs and LTAs throughout daily

routine• Circle Time• Snack• Playground• Centers

• Pre-K, 4-5 years old• 4 ELL Students• 13 total– 2 black, 5 hispanic, 6

• Exceptionalities include – ASD, “A child who manifests the characteristics of autism after age three could

– CP“ Orthopedic impairment means a severe orthopedic impairment that adversely affects a child's educational performance.”
