Shortages - Any claims for shortages must be made immediately upon receipt of merchandise. Shortage claims will be invalid unless entered in writing within 10 days of invoice date. Freight - All shipments will be F.O.B. Company’s plant at Garland, Texas, or F.O.B. other shipping points if supplied by other manufacturers. Customer will handle all claims for shortages or damages in transit with the carrier. If a claim for freight allowance is in order, said claim must be supported by a paid freight bill. The cost applying to export shipments will be quoted on request. Transportation Claims - Upon receipt by the consignee, shipments must be inspected for shortages or damage before acceptance from carrier. In event of loss and/or damage, notation should be made on carrier receipt. Immediate claim should be entered against the carrier. In no case will Company be liable in any manner for shortages and/or damage caused to a shipment by the common carrier. Defective Goods Returns - Defective goods may be returned only after receiving an authorization number from the Customer Care department. Defective returned goods will be repaired or replaced at Weathermatic’s option.

Inventory Return Requests - Goods may be returned only after receiving an authorization number from the Customer Care department. To be considered for return, goods must have been purchased within one (1) year of request for return and be of current vintage, in case quantity and in new, resellable condition. A 20% restocking fee will apply to all inventory returns. Cancellations - When placing special equipment orders or large quantity orders for future release, customer agrees to the following terms in case of cancellation of all or any portion of the order: 1. Customer will accept delivery of all goods when ready for

shipment or for which Weathermatic is commiteed to accept raw materials.

2. In the event of special price quotations, customer agrees to accept a unit price adjustment on the uncancelled balance of the order if applicable.

3. When cancellation results in excess inventories of regular production items, customer will pay a cancellation charge or will accept that portion of the order required to alleviate the over-inventory situation as determined by Weathermatic.

Limited Warranty - For complete information on Weathermatic’s warranty policy see the current Product Line Catalog. Repairs - Paid repairs performed by the Company on equipment of its manufacture after expiration of the original limited warranty period shall carry a 90-day limited warranty on workmanship and replacement parts. Company’s warranty liability on parts is limited to those components actually replaced during repair. All repairs are to be shipped to Weathermatic freight prepaid. Return freight to customer on warranty repairs will be prepaid without cost to the customer. Customer will be responsible for return freight from Weathermatic on non-warranty repairs. Controllers may be sent to Weathermatic for non-warranty repair.

Conditions of sale and instructions for return of goods forreplacement or repair apply to authorized weathermatic Distributors.All returned goods must be given to an authorized

distributor for return to the factory.
