Effective ResearchAn overview of Tools and Tips

Whats the Point? To be truly prepared for college and digitally literate, you need to be familiar with databases and other online resources that are academically vetted or, in some cases, peer reviewed. You need to understand the Web tools youre using and where the information you access online comes from. You need to be able to judge whether the information you find is good or flawed in some way. You need to use the information you find responsibly and ethically by citing your resources correctly in MLA format.
