Box Blur Effect

The box blur was added to the main title as well as the subtle blurs were added in specific timings in contrast to the other effects placed on the text as well.

Echo Effect

The echo effect I added was because of the ‘bubble’ look it gave around the lettering. This effect also added a more radiant white to the colour of the text which was good in establishing a difference from the rest of the credits.

Fast Blur Effect

Fast blur was added twice for its continuity throughout the time sequence. It gives a more meshed blur rather than a ‘blocked’ blur given when adding the ‘box’ effect. I thought this effect in combination with the others allowed the significance of the title to be read as the meshed blur becoming clear is like the protagonist realising the denial of her mental illness.

Fast Blur Value ChangesThe changing of the value applied to this effect as well so I manipulated its value throughout the

sequence.

The value being 60 allows a more rapid looking blur.

Blurriness decreasing towards the end of effect. (the highlighted diamond)

OpacityThe changes in opacity of the text was also changed in relevance to the application of the

effects.

The opacity here is 40% making the text with all effects included appear minimally. I thought the changes in opacity worked well alongside the blurs.

Here the opacity is at 100% making the text clear. As the picture shows the blurriness is more sharper due to the opacity changes from before (the top image).

DifferencesI was able to notice huge difference as I applied more effects

rather than just a single one. Here is an example of just one effect applied to the title:
