Management Approach
The environmental management at Siddheshwar Forgings adheres to complying with

as raw material for manufacturing automotive components as well as for using energy in all

While the global demand for engineered automotive components and vehicle parts is
constantly increasing with the ever-growing automobile sector, it is also indicating an
increased use of natural resources for the production of the same. This demand is expected
to only increase at a prolific rate in the future.
We realize that these resources are shrinking and therefore the need of the hour is to utilize
them as efficiently as possible and reduce the wastage to the maximum extent possible.
To reduce the environmental footprint in our operations, we are in the process of taking
measures for improving the efficiency of our processes and using the energy resources
optimally. We ensure that our operations do not incur any negative impact on our surrounding
biodiversity.

engage them with us not only through work but through a cultural bond.
Employee Training and Development
We are committed towards employee development by providing adequate opportunities to
them by providing training and learning sessions and thereby help them develop the required
competencies and polish their skills to the best.
It is very important to update our employees with the current market trends to help them cope
up with the ever changing customer demands and conform to global standards. This helps the
21
employees to enhance their knowledge and in turn improve the company’s overall
performance. A performance review is done during regular meetings and feedback is
provided to the employees on their performance.
We provide various training sessions to our employees like:
Housekeeping
Quality
Machine operation training
As this is our first Sustainability reporting journey we did not have systems in place to monitor
the training data. Going forward we would implement systems to monitor the data.
Occupational Health and Safety
We believe that good safety is good business which helps sustain world-class business
performance. At Siddheshwar Forgings safety principles provide direction and focus to our
Occupational Health and Safety program for achieving and sustaining safety excellence
Any manufacturing company faces issues related to workmen safety. Hence, it becomes a
necessity to provide a healthy and safe working environment and also form strategies related
to assisting workforce members or their families regarding such hazards and risks etc.
In FY 2014-15 we did not encounter any case of reported injuries, occupational diseases and
fatality which makes us believe that the zero injury target is achievable and make us feel
satisfied that we are not lacking in our approach towards health and safety of our employees.
In order to implement safety practices we encourage the usage of Personal Protective
Equipment’s among the employees by conducting workshops through external agencies.
We have also worked on considering safety usage of devices and hence installed safety
guards.

Human/ Labor Rights
We have identified human and labor rights as our material issue in order to monitor the labor
related issues within our organization and our suppliers. But this being our first Sustainability
reporting journey we did not have systems in place to monitor the training data. Going forward
we would implement systems to monitor the data.
Customer Satisfaction
Our team members have always maintained a point to interact with the customers through
various mediums in order to know their needs in a better manner and shall continue to strive
towards achieving a better customer-management relationship through various efforts.
For measuring our performance on customer satisfaction, we conduct feedback survey. We
have received a score of 93.33 %. This survey was conducted without hiring any external
agency in the region of Pune.
