Provided end to end consultancy for 30 projects totaling 30MW in the JNNSM phase 1 implementation. He is also theconsultant for multiple government bodies (EPTRI, UNIDO, MNRE), voluntary organisations (SEED, ECM, SESI, IEI) and private companies(MAYTAS INFRA, NCC, REGENCY CERAMICS, Dr.Reddys, etc.,) for establishing grid based and off-grid solar power projects.

Dr. Padma Raju, Chief Consultant Bio Diversity: Over 40 years of service in soil research and bio diversity conservation and retired asthe Director of Research in Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU). Our Work - Selected ProjectsCarbon Advisory

Kshetriya Grameen Financial Services (KGFS): KGFS is a financial services company mainly focused on serving the financial needs of the poor people in need of micro loans for farming and other livelihood needs. Enabling financial sustainability among people is one

of its core principles and hence it also looks at environmental sustainability or its impact on the planet. As a specialist carbon

advisory firm, we undertook an exercise to map out the carbon footprint of the organisation and establish a baseline of its emissions

for reporting purposes.

Ramco Systems: Ramco systems is an IT company that develops and markets its own ERP product for enterprises around the world.They compete with SAP, Oracle and other ERP vendors regularly to acquire clients worldwide. As a differentiation to its products,

Ramco wanted to prove its green credentials to its customers which will keep not only its emissions low but also help its customers

reduce their emissions through cloud based computing. EfficientCarbon, in an ongoing project is doing the Carbon Management for

Ramco Systems and is evaluating the reduction in CO2e emissions due to its clients switching to cloud computing.

Maha Cements: Maha Cements is a partly owned company of the CRH group, Ireland. When the CRH group had to report its

emissions worldwide, it issued a directive to Maha Cements to report its emissions and set targets to reduce them. EfficientCarbon

helped Maha Cements account for its emissions and set a baseline of emissions in the Scope 1, 2 and 3 categories. EfficientCarbon

also helped set a strategy to achieve 20% reduction in its emissions through a combination of alternate fuels, transportation

efficiency and reduced electricity consumption.

Our Work - Selected Projects

Paper Industry: One of the major paper manufacturing companies in India acquired another paper facility in Malaysia and is

planning an expansion of the facility. As a part of its operations, it is looking at reducing the consumption of coal as fuel and usepalm shells and other biomass such as fruit waste instead. This would save hundreds of tonnes of CO2 from being generated, provide

livelihood to a lot of local people to pre-process the biomass and save a lot of waste being sent to the landfills. EfficientCarbon, in

partnership with another company is filing for CDM for the project and will handhold its client through the documentation, financial

analysis, verification and monitoring phases.

Energy Efficiency

Cognizant Technologies: Cognizant Technologies (CTS), is one of the top 5 IT companies in India primarily exporting software services

to the biggest corporations in the world. As a part of its energy efficiency program, EfficientCarbon has completed an energy auditand identified more than 30% of energy savings in the facility. Soon, this model will be replicated across its facilities in India and

Cognizant will lay claim for being one of the greenest IT companies in India.

Ramco Systems: Ramco systems, part of the Madras Cements Group is an IT company that develops and markets its own ERP

product for enterprises around the world. As a differentiation to its products, Ramco wanted to prove its green credentials to itscustomers which will keep its emissions low. EfficientCarbon, in addition to Carbon Management , is also implementing an energy

efficiency program for Ramco Systems and is looking at reducing around 25% of its energy costs including its data centers at one of

its main facilities in Chennai, India.
