Component Descriptions

• Core– Provides an SQL DB snapshot of the BDII content– Maintains an entity cache of what has been seen

• Validation– Validates the information content– Provides testing results for visualization or export

• Monitoring– Detects faults in the information system– Entity DB is used to configure which entities are monitored– Prepares monitoring data and graphs ready for visualization

• Visualization– Uses entity DB to generate the main structure– Visualizes the result of validation and monitoring– Provides different views for different user groups

• Team Members:

• By March 09 – Finish software requirements analysis and design

– Finish prototyping new model

– Regional use-cases Study

• By September 09– Finish the sustainable implementation of the new model

– Finish prototyping the GStat portal for 3rd party tools

– Start to test and prepare for software transition

• By December 09– New model operated and in production

– Start to deploy distributed instances, depending on regions choice
